Tell me about weight stall at 3weeks post op
london-vgs replied to mimorison's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 11 days post-op and lost 10lbs. The first 7 days but have stalled since. It seems impossible to consume less than 700 calories a day and not lose weight. I log everything, I think my protein needs uping though for sure. Hard to get it in at this stage. -

Had Surgery on September 8th 2015
london-vgs replied to lmag's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery September 10th so that makes me 7 days post-op today. I've lost 8 lbs. And the swelling and gas seem to be better. I do get pain in my left side still if I over do it. After doing all the research I could before surgery I am really going to take to heart what other sleevers said they had 1) never started 2) done from the beginning. To me, this is about as drastic and life changing as it gets and looking for ways that I can cheat this tool just seems ridiculous. This new mental discipline is going to be the hardest part of the journey but luckily my new stomach will take care of the physical part of it. -
I did it! Still feeling rough but walking and sipping is my life line right now. Looking forward to the weeks passing so I can feel better and progress in my journey. Starting weight 192lbs. Goal weight is 115 as I'm pretty short.

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
london-vgs replied to bigjoe102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
For me, not being able to use my body as the vessel it should be along with an asthma diagnosis and chronic inflammation with repeated cycles of illness finally helped me to take a drastic leap for a better life. I am only 3 days post-op and its not easy, never will be but as my weight has kept me ill for years I think this is worth the temporary tribulations.
