    I think I messed up

Just like everyone else is saying... There is a phenomenon that happens around the 3rd week... Known as the 3 week stall.... I was on it for 2 weeks! Just keep pushing to get protein and water in and it will start to come off again! It is very discouraging and I know when you are in that spot at the time you feel like a failure but our bodies just need to be able to catch up sometime! I have stalled several times including all of week 3 and 4 and more! But today I am down into a pair of high school jeans and I'm 2 days away from 3 months post op! I have lost a total of 67lbs and as long as the scale keeps going in the right direction I am going to be happy about it!

    Anyone in north carolina

    Outer banks!
  3. I had my surgery 12/8/15 and have since lost 51 pounds. My surgeon took me off of my metformin completely in the hospital the day after surgery. I have PCOS and feel I still need the metformin, especially since I am really hoping for a baby in a year or so. I am planning on discussing it more with my surgeon during my 3 month post op appointment, but I was wondering how many of you who take it for PCOS continued after surgery.

    Catheter

I had a catheter, but they didn't put it in until I was asleep under anesthesia. I kept it the first day and night then the nurse took it out the morning after my surgery. I was worried and scared just like you are but believe me when I say you will be happy you have it. You will be getting IV fluids and it is pretty painful getting in and out of bed to use the bathroom.

    Stalled since week 2!

As of today, I am 4 weeks out and I have not lost a pound since week 2! :-( I lost 31 pounds the first two weeks. I have called my nutritionist to see what she recommends and she didn't have much of anything to say! I am getting all of my water and protein in and walking almost every single day for more than 30 minutes. Has anyone ever had this happen or know what could be going on? I had heard of the dreaded 3rd week stall but never someone stalling for 2 whole weeks this early in the game.

    December Sleevers?

December 8th for me! I love the idea of December buddies!!!
  8. My surgery is 12/8/15. So I go for my "preop"class as they call it next Tursday which will be exactly 2 weeks before my surgery. My surgeon never mentioned a preop liquid diet but I was wondering if that's what they are going to tell me at the class. Just wanted to hear from you all about it!
  9. Anyone else having the surgery with high hopes that it will help you get pregnant or have success getting pregnant after the sleeve with PCOS? I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 21 and have dealt with obesity and trouble losing weight my whole life! Over the past 4 years I have had 2 miscarriages! I turned 30 this year and feel this is my only hopes to have a baby of my own.
  10. I could barely do 2 minutes!
  11. My surgery is scheduled for 12/8! I am starting to have a lot of anxiety about being on nothing but liquids for 2 weeks solid afterwards! So I was hoping some of you all might be able to share with me and others on how you all dealt with it?

    Sleeved with PCOS

That is absolutely wonderful! That gives me so much hope! My doctor wants me to wait at least year too, I figured I have waited this long, so another year won't kill me! Lol Do you plan on trying as soon as you hit your 12 month mark? I am 30 so I feel an urgency to start right away! Lol

    Sleeved with PCOS

My surgery date is next month and I was wondering how many of you have PCOS. I have heard it can almost completely eliminate all symptoms of PCOS which would be amazing, as I have had two miscarriages due to PCOS. I would love to hear the in's and out's of having PCOS with the sleeve! Do you feel you lost slower? Did your symptoms go away? Which symptoms went away? Successful pregnancy afterwards?

What is your most embarrassing NSV?

Isn't it far more embarrassing to wipe without ease? You and @@sbrainwater missed a priceless NSV topic. I think the originator, @@dhrguru, was more embarrassed discussing it than experiencing it. (I'm putting her name in blue so that she's notified that she's being held up as a shining beacon.) I won't reveal anything so that, if you check it out, you'll get the full impact. http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/353620-the-view-from-down-there-a-ladies-room-post/ When I think of one that I can categorize as embarrassing, I'll be back. Welcome to you both. Maybe I worded it wrong. I mean a NSV that I can't wait for will be wiping with ease, which is embarrassing for me to admit and it is also something I normally wouldn't admit to someone!
  15. I don't have surgery until December, but thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's NSV or what NSV they can't wait for! I thought it would be fun to mix it up a bit and ask that we share our most private/embarrassing NSV or the ones we normally wouldn't tell anyone! My two most private/embarrassing to admit NSV's will be: 1. Wiping with ease! 2. Grocery shopping without sweating like I have just worked out at the gym!
