  1. I'm pmsing which is something I've always had a issue with. I get really hungry for the worse kind of things and today was no exception. I ate about 8 miniature snickers and a small bag of lays potato chips. I'm feeling extra guilty but also hate the urges and cravings that come with my period. I've been trying so hard but sometimes I can't stay in control as much as I'd like or need to. Does anyone have any tips to help with pmsing and all the cravings and wrecklessness?!
  2. Hey thank you so much for the advice and suggestions I will definitely use them and search for those items at the grocery store tomorrow.

    Straws?

It puts air back into your stomach and you're trying to get the air they pumped into your belly during surgery out and it only comes out in two ways. Your mouth or your ass.
  5. I use to drink room temperature water only prior to surgery but now I find myself craving ice and ice cold water. Hoping I'm not anemic but wouldn't be surprised, my vitamin levels are still lacking. Anyone have this craving or a change in certain similar things?
  6. While those close to me know my struggles and the decision to have weight loss surgery I work with a bunch of gossipy, unhappy and messy women. I chose not to tell coworkers for that very reason (well two people,) and although it got out and my fellow supervisor hated on me so bad she actually made a video and posted it on social media stating I had weight loss surgery and lied and said my gallbladder was taken out. Actually my gallbladder was taken out at the same time but o chose to keep my journey a secret because of this type of behavior. I'm 37 and never worked with women as such but then again I'm a Cali girl currently living in the country where my husband got stationed. I'm very very private and have no idea how to answer if someone asks how I lost weight. Any suggestions?
  7. Omg I love that response "better than being morbidly obese the rest of my life."
  8. That is workplace bullying and harassment and I NEVER use those words lightly. You need to go above your supervisor and to your HR department with this. That's grounds for dismissal. I actually went over her head but because she removed the video and I couldn't save it, there is nothing they could do about it.
  9. I think my goal was to have it done and get well into my journey before telling anyone. I'm sure people will know soon enough and that's okay but I'm very private and wanted to keep it to myself as long as possible without comments, judgement or people constantly watching me.
  10. That's awesome and congrats!! I hope to achieve similar goals
  11. Everyone goes through this phase usually in the first month
  12. The older ones are the absolute worse even more so than the younger high school acting grown women
  13. Thank you so much for your replies and yes even the work relationship has been distanced but great answers.

    Major Dumping Syndrome

It's anything that contains sugar and greasy foods. They tell you this prior to surgery. Mine was set off by Starbucks this weekend when I ordered a decaf sugar free vanilla drink which they obviously used regular sugar and it caused me to go into dumping syndrome that was horrible. If all else fails return to liquids and make sure they are sugar free.
  19. My surgery date was 9/1/2015. I took deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, panties, and a change of clothes. I also took my iPad and kindle as you get pretty bored although you're not feeling great.
  20. I must be the only person in the world who had their gallbladder removed the same time as sleeve surgery and has had a hard time. Not only did I have severe constipation, my ribs hurt really bad. Now I will say that my surgery date was 9/1/2015 so I am technically only ten days out but the nagging pain in my ribs is annoying and uncomfortable to sleep with. Has anyone not experienced this? My doctor said it was from pulling my fat stomach and gallbladder through muscle and that it would be sore for a while. WHAT'S A WHILE? I want some relief!
