I'm very happy with myself today. I finaly hit my goal weight:thumbup:. I went from 259lbs (size 22) to 155lbs (size 10). It took me almost 1 year 5 months to do it, but it was worth it!!!! Now I think I'll see if I can get down another 15lbs just for the fun of it.

Dont get too discuraged. I went throught a peroid of over 4 months where I lost less that 10 pounds. I was doing everything right. I was getting VERY upset that the waigt wasn't comming off. Then all of a sudden I lost 8 lbs in 1 month. I think it just depends on your body. Most people hit a platuo and get stuck for a while. But it wont last forever. Just keep doing what your suppoes to and the weigt WILL come off.

Hey, I'm currently taking Predisone right now and not having any problems with it. I do take it with a little bit of food or a drink of milk so as not to have an empty tummy but so far no problems. Hope that helps.

Hi. I was banded on feb. 28th and have had an up and down time fo it so far. today I have noticed that I have pain in the middle of my back. It gets sharper if I take a big breath. Has anybody else had this, and if so how did you make it stop? Thanks for your help. meme337z

Hi, You aren't suppose to have anything with carbonation in it , but I've found that if my tummy is upset I can tolerate a small amount of ginger ale. Hope that helps. -
OK so I was banded on Thursday the 28th. Th first 2 days I was home were not that bad, then today has been horrible. I can keep down some water but thats about all. I can't eat anything, I've been taking gas-x and that seems to help some. I've been having hot and cold spells. I'll be freezing one minuet and roasting the next. and I'm lightheaded. All I want to do is sleep. If I hadn't just had suregry I would think I'm getting sick. Any suggestions?

Just a quick question. Has any one felt lightheaded? :confused2:Not just when standing up to quick but when sitting down doing nothing. I'm just witting on the computer and I'm lightheaded. I've been drinking enough (I think) but I can't seem to focus my head. Any suggestions? Thanks:biggrin2:

Hi. I would say when your body feels up to it you'll know. If you partner is understanding you should be ok. Tell him the longer you have to heel the better it will be when you do get to have some fun. Also there are "fun" things you can do that might satisfy him (and you) before your completely healed. Good luck

Hi. I was also banded yesterday and was surprised at how little it hurts. Like you I had a c-section so I was expecting that kind of pain. I'm glad we were wrong. Keep it up and Hope all goes will.

Hi, I was banded yesterday, the 28th. I'm very glad it's done, I feel a bit sore (like I did too many setups), but other than that I'm doing good. I tried to eat some grits today and was amazed at how little I ate before I was full. -
Did you cheat on pre-op liquid diet
meme337z replied to crystalcml's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Hi, I'm on day 7 of a 10 day pre-op diet. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!! I'm hungry. I think my husband couldn't wait to get away from me yesterday. But I think about it like this. I can be miserable for a few days, in that this is for the rest of my life. No cheating so far. Being banded on Thursday. Can't wait. -
looking good....keep it up
