Maybe I should try protein shakes now while I’m on my full liquid pre-op diet. Any protein drinks suggestions? Is it true even if I found one drink I like, pre op I might think its gross? Question, questions???

I'm not stalking you, I promise!
It depends on where you live I think regarding easy access. I use Premier Protein ready made shakes. They are a little expensive but good and then. Low sugar and fat and 30g of protein for 11 oz drink. (I like the chocolate but vanilla is also quite good especially if mixed with Torani Sugar Free Salted Caramel Syrup!). For a powder, I use Precision Engineering which I really like. Also 30g per scoop and it is actually low lactose (in case you are needing one of those). The chocolate again is quite good as is the vanilla (which smells heavenly!) My favorite drink is 1 scoop of vanilla with 1 stick of Orange Crush Water enhancer mixed with 6 to 8 oz of water and a few cubes of ice. I also put in about 1 oz of banana but you may want to hold off on that for a while. Lastly, I use an unflavored one called Doc Hale's Whey-licious. I really like it. I scoop is 20g of protein and mixes with as little as 3 or 4 oz of water and right after surgery, this was a true God-Send when I just couldn't get that much down. I have used it mixed in some foods too and found that to work but I always know it is there so it is just a mental thing that it tastes funny to me. Lots of people use the ready mix Isopure fruit flavors. I thought they were AWFUL! But there is 40 g of protein per bottle and on your clear liquid day, it is quite worth it. Just use it in something with a lid and straw over ice so you don't smell it. Many people also like the Nectar Synthrax but I also did not like those. Many swear by them, so you will just eventually have to keep trying and find something you like. During your pre-op diet, you should definitely be getting in protein. Did the dr not give you direction on that? Mine required at least 60g of protein per day. Without it, you will be starving, so find one you can tolerate for now and just don't buy a ton of it. Yes, it is very possible you won't like it afterwards, but I luckily did not have that issue. I haven't (yet anyway) had change of tastebuds at all.
Hope that helps!
