    Protein protein protein

NewMe, I use the food-water-protein tracker online with SparkPeople. It is a great way to keep track of water and protein, as well as calories. I seldom have to add a food. The data base of foods is amazing. They also have a lot of goor recipes online.

    Getting Sleeved 9/15! Need advice!

I have lost 34 lbs now and recently passed my 2 month mark, but have been at a stall for the last 2+ weeks. I have increased my calories from 700 to 900, made sure I get in the protein on most days, as well as the water. I know I need to exercise more, but am now caring for my husband as he recovers from brain surgery and getting him to almost daily appointments. The stall is giving me fits and very few foods even interest me at this time.

    Drinking with meal?

I am 2 months out and can hardly make it through a meal without a few sips of water.
  8. Looking fantastic, jaxmom!! Congratulations on the hard work and great results!

    Clothes

Is anyone else afraid to give away clothes that no longer fit? I think after so many years of yoyo dieting I am afraid to give away clothes that are now too large for me. I keep thinking I should box these up and put them in the attic. I might have to go back to larger sizes some day? I just can't get my mind around the idea I will not need them some day!

    Clothes

I need to do the thrift shopping thing, too. Right now I only have one pair of jeans that fit. Blouses can be adapted by tucking them in, but pants that are too baggy tend to look like clown pants!

Where are all the august people

Linda818, I was sleeved on the same day. I do not have the nausea, but often feel as if I have swallowed a boulder after eating if it is nt somethng soft. I have tried steak and roast beef and they were the worst. I.too, have lost 30 lbs!
  13. You are my hero and look wonderful!
  14. I like the idea of a private FB page, but 100 members seems like a lot. I think this site is s bit confusing when trying to reference or send a message to another member.
  15. I was wearing the same clothes until I hit 27 lbs. Today I put on a pair of pants I had comfortably worn all summer and they looked like clown pants! They were so baggy!
  16. I was lseeved on 8/18 and still feel like every time I eat I have a rock lodged in my chest for the next few hours. I was cleared to eat regular food, but am thinking I may need to go back to the mushy stage. ANyone else have this problem?
  17. I have trouble slowing myself down while eating, too. It feels like I have a rock in my chest right now. But it might be stress. We just found out my husband has a brain tumor and we have been at the hospital since early Monday.
  18. Pixiredhead, you look wonderful or as Billy Crystal would say, "Mahvalous!" Keep up the great work!
  19. Yea, I want to know aobut the dye, too.
  20. Undeserving, those refried Beans are next to heaven the first few times! A little grated cheese and MMMMMM! After a week, not so wonderful! LOL I am at week 5 now and still struggle to get over 50 oz of Water a day. Good luck and drink on! lol
  21. Stuart, are you allowed to eat mushy/soft foods yet? That step is so much better than the liquid drinks for hunger.
  22. Prayers for you to get home and on the road to recovery soon, Sleeveme.
  23. lizlosinglbs, I was also sleeved on 8/18, feeling great and lost 25 lbs so far! Congrats and keep up the hard work!
