I am looking for creative food options for the 2nd week phase. Right now I am straining soup, drinking protein shakes and eating Greek yogurt.

I am on day 2 and I feel so week. I have a hard time swallowing and broth makes me gag. Please tell me this will go away!

I am doing much better. Thanks for the soup straining idea. I am 1 week tomorrow but I started Greek yogurt, creamed soup, and sugar free pudding today.

I was sleeved on Wednesday and I get horrible heartburn and a sharp pain in my chest occasionally. -
How did you get protein in the first week when you can only have clear liquids?

I'm on my 2nd post Op and sometimes when I swallow water there is a very sharp pain, is that normal?

Oct 7th date - nervous
Angelwing99 replied to Angelwing99's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My preop said I could have protein shakes, lean meat and vegetables for lunch and dinner so that's what I am doing but I do worry about the liver being too big for them to get to my stomach. I am also worried about never being able to eat normally and always taking vitamins. It truly seems like a whole new way of life but I just keep telling myself the alternative is to die from complications due to obesity. -
I finally got my date and I am so nervous. I know this isn't going to be easy. Does anyone else have a date next week?

Oct 7th is my date. I have never had surgery before so I am really wondering how painful this is going to be but excited for a new chance. -
My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday and I am so nervous. I just want to make sure I follow all the instructions so I have no complications. It's seems like everyone's journey is different but for the most part are happy that they did it. If you can share one thing you wish you would have known or done differently, what would it be?

I have the same concerns just making sure I follow all the requirements and don't have any complications.
