Lol....I am Neflixing Grey's Anatomy. On season 3!!! I am off work til the 27th at least. Longer if I need it. I need to walk more. But simply want to sleep or curl up in my living room nest!!! I am soooo tired!!

@@60&goin4it ...same boat here. Gas is killing me...lol. Got 60 grams of protein drink in today but no where near enough water.i am just so full. Another week and half on liquids til I go to pureed for a,week. Then soft for a,week....I got your request on facebook...yay!!

@SleevinChica I did not have a bowel movement from 5 days before surgery until after I came home from surgery Sunday night...almost 10 days....i was soooo bloated. Hang in there. Now I go about every other day

@@ChunkyChocolate ...the hospital actually thought I had a pulmonary embolism but during testing they discovered the fluid!

@@395Ron and family. Ron is and will remain in all my prayers. I believe he will overcome this and be so successful in his journey. @@60&goin4it and @@irishaggie I believe I am finally back on track! It was a pretty rough go for a few days but today has been a much better day. I have managed to get about 45 grams of protein in so far but having more trouble with water. The bloat is awful. I swear I can feel fluid backing up my throat. I know I need to be moving around more but have created a "nest" in my living room and tend to stay there a lot. Do you both have facebook? I tend to be on there a lot and would love to keep up with you both there as well!! My facebook is Edie Smith Steer edie091371@yahoo.com How are you both doing? @ the rest of our October family. Sorry I fell off the radar. I suppose it was a little harder process then I thought it would be. @@ChunkyChocolate Walk walk walk walk walk. Cough cough cough cough . Bring all the drainage up and get rid of it. I did not follow that advice and it landed me three extra,days in the hospital with fluid on my lungs

Well everyone I am seriously hoping that today will be the day I get to go home from the hospital. All my tests have come back looking good so hopefully I will be released. I am actually feeling pretty good today and the pain is definitely abating. I hope you are all doing great.

Looks like I am staying another day..they are ordering chest xrays.

@SleevinChica I am still in the hospital. Had my surgery Thursday . Most likely being released today.

@julubel721. The surgery is a piece of cake! My only real problem has been that gas settled in my left shoulder. .ouch...but even that is starting to subside.Walk walk walk

I could have gone home tonight but chose to stay one more night. I am pretty sore and think I need one more day will make me feel better.

Well guys it is almost that time. Our sheets are drying and when they are done I am going to shower with the surgical soap and call it a night! I really hope sleep is not elusive. @@irishaggie ... omg I am so excited I am about to bust!!! I was going to work all day but I could not concentrate so I took off at 1 o'clock and am currently getting a pedicure. Then a massage at 4:30. I am hoping it makes me relax!! In 15 hours I head for the hospital. After many months of fighting insurance my surgery is finally set and I would love to talk to others that are at the same place in their journey. I would also live to hear from veterans with any helpful hints!!

Thanks so much @395Ron. Poor Kevin looked at a loss before he left for work. I know you are correct, there are just so many things going on inside my body right now that my mind Is trying to get a grasp on. But this too shall pass. Now hurry up and get to the hospital so you can get this done and give us a full report. We are all with you in spirit.

I don't knowwhat is wrong with me this morning. I woke up around 4 and can't seem to stop the tears. I an two days from surgery and can not say that I feel particularly nervous or scared but yet the tears keep flowing. I am on day 4 of my 5 day liquid diet and I can say with all honesty food has no appeal to me right now. Maybe going to work will help!
