I ordered some online this morning.

@@kvoneye You are not a Debby downer! You are human and having very human feelings!! We are not super heroes that are immune to negativity. Each day we will get stronger. I honestly believe this few weeks after surgery is the hardest. I am to the point that I feel nauseated just at the thought of another "sweet" protein shake!!! Sweet grosses me out so bad right now! Do you like hot tea? I will tell you that I kept reading that hot tea is like magic. I love hot tea but I feel so full from just my water and protein drinks that the idea of another liquid was not appealing. But a couple of hours ago I made a cup of Earl Gray in hopes of settling my stomach. Not only did it do that but it also has given me so much comfort and a feeling of okay-ness again. In two hours I have had two cups... hey, that's 16 oz,of my water intake today!!!

@@kvoneye Hang in there! Each day is a new day. I am having my first nauseated day. Earl Grey tea is helping a little but I don't see me leaving my recliner today.

@@irishaggie it sounds like we are losing at the same rate...I was 244 SD, 248 at one week post op and 235 this morning.

Fyi guys....for some reason Fiji water seems to go down easier (almost seems thinner) then all others I have tried so far.

@@Miracle my doc said my pups had to be crated that night and my sheets freshly laundered. The dogs were pretty good about it but I missed them!! But you really don't want to risk infection.

@@irishaggie I told my hubby that I want Gringos refried beans and avocado first thing next week!!!!

@@kimvox66 I also keep thinking that there can't be just a lot of solid in us to come out!!!

@@irishaggie pinto and cheese? Is that a soup? If so we have to find that! Which grocery did you get it at? I am so sick of sweet (never thought those words would come out of my mouth!!). All I want is savory...beany....meaty!!!!

@@irishaggie LOL I know exactly what you mean. I have equated this with pregnancy at times too. Even holding my stomach because of the gas pains. Well I just had my first non protein drink meal.. Kevin made me get out and go to the grocery with him. While there I found LaMadeline to motor basil soup in a jar. OMG . I finally felt my "full" . I never thought I would. About ounces did it. I am so excited..I now know what my full feels like. And it feels great!!

@@thinner-me I feel you. I am scared to death of my first stall. I am only seeing 1/4 to1/2 pound weight loss per day and the thought of a stall is terrifying. But we all know it is a reality we will get thru. Hang in there. This too shall pass and this time next year we will all be laughing about how silly and whiney we were! We should try to do something like 1 one year get together or something for anyone interested in our October family!!!

I have definitely had moments of thinking that way but I know in my heart I did the right thing.

My son has a visit with our nutritionist tomorrow. I think i am going to hijack it and declare it an emergency. I need advice from her asap. I am just not surviving on protein drinks ,broth and water.

Ugh..time to get out of bed and start my first protein shake!!

@ me too...I keep hearing about people losing 15 to 20 pounds their first week . I am getting a little down about it. I just weighed and today is day 11 and I am down 9 pounds. I am trying to focus on the fact that I am going down but it is hard not to get caught up on that number!! And I think my body must be in starvation mode. I feel like I am living on about 350 calories a day. How are you doing with your fluid intake? I get my protein in okay but can't seem to get much water in. And I have barely moved around. Kevin is making me go to the grocery with him today and get moving.

@@julbel721 no. They just told me to keep using my little puffer machine. Every half hour ,10 puffs. And it is getting better and better.

@@60&goin4it let us know as soon as you hear back from Ron's wife. I truly hope he is recovering!! I am ready to have him back amongst us!!!
