We do have a great group don't we!!!! I'm headed out side after I get off the computer, its suppose to rain tomorrow thru sun. so better get outside while I can!!! It sounds like you are on track for healing, good for you & the walking does help.

@@60&goin4it - From everything I've read (and I think we all can say we've read a lot!), that is very common! When you consider you probably put on 5 just with the extra fluids, etc. from surgery and have lost an additional 4.5, that sounds great! Your doctor is happy, too, so that is wonderful! Your positive outlook and big heart have inspired so many on these pages (myself included!) and this post is yet another example of how your support and feedback helps us all… we all have encountered (and will continue to) this same challenge and will remember your perseverance and positivity during these slow times… Thank you for sharing! Thank-You so much!! The support from so many of us has been great including you!!!!

Glad your ok!!! Some people have a hard time with pain medication, I can't take certain kinds. Hopefully it will be better now that you are at home!

Well I went to the Doctor today & all is looking good!!!!! Except the scale!!! I was glad I hadn't gotten on the darn thing before today because it was probably in the plus zone!!! I have lost 4.5 lbs in 13 days post op! Better than I could ever do before but I have to admit I was hoping for a little more!! Oh well heck, the dr. seemed fine with it! I won't give up I won't give up I will keep on keeping on!!! He said I could walk farther than I had been (only 10 min. at a time through out the day) To try to walk 30min. at a time & fast enough to sweat!!! This should get my metabolism going!!!! I'm really feeling truly blessed! I'm doing well & still loosing some!!!

Everything did taste sweeter to me but the broth! And I had a terrible taste in my mouth for a few days! Hope it gets better!

So sorry to hear your having problems! You & Ron are both having a hard time :-( ! And I know you two did everything possible to have a good outcome!!! Hopefully soon you will be feeling much better & glad you did this, but right now doesn't feel too much like it I'm sure!!! Sending you hugs & will pray for a quick healing!!
