COngratulations I think you finally have restriction b/c thats exactly what happens to me these days. It doesnt usually just pass like it used to you have to bring it up. So far today I havent had any problems. I think its taken @ two weeks to losen up a bit.

Well if your sliming it seems like you must have some restriction. I think Im a little too tight and its soo not fun. I get stuck a lot and have to be really careful on what I choose to eat. Good luck and slow isnt always bad right?

Good idea because believe me before this is over they will have definately lost something. Best to have a backup just incase.

Kellu, The answer is too damn long!!! @ 3 months before I heard and got invited to the seminar. Then another 3 months before the surgery. So Its about a six month wait to get everything done.

Im pretty sure the support group meeting starts at 6. P.S. Where's Judy, China and Bloom? and Bigurlx and everyone else thats missing???

Hi Kelly Hi Michelle, I was just reading your posts welcome! Kelly, My cousin is getting the lap band with Dr Hoffman and has fidelis so you should not have to change insurance. Michelle, you are so correct about Dr Caruanna, they are much quicker and more responsive. My aunt is getting it done through them and shes whipping through the procedure. Dont get me wrong, I had my lapband done with Dr Hoffaman and I really love him, but the staff is not so great. They are so slow and lose a lot of your paperwork. I do not know anyone who has yet to get the lap band through Dr Caruanna but judging by how quick they are to get you in Im sure they are fine. Good luck with your decisions it very worth it in the end Im down @ 73lbs in a year. Rain

Oh my gosh whats this feeling??? Oh wait its restriction!! Im actually full of of four ounces of yogurt I cant believe it. I went to see Dr Hoffamn yesterday and I got a 1cc fill and Im feeling pretty good about it. Cant wait to see what lunch brings. I lost another 7lbs not my best but better than not losing, Im really hoping that this fill will jump start my weight loss Rain

They better numb me even after eight tries they never get it in. Ive only had Hoffman do my fills and he cant even find it! I have an appt on the 13th and cant wait Im sure I need a fill this time around.I hate the pain but like the results Im pretty sure Im close to my sweet spot. Rain

I also need the lidocaine because my port is very hard to get into. After the seventh poke or so even the lidocaine doesnt cut the pain. I have had three fills and all have been pretty rough.

Vicki, They think you have a slipped band and there making you wait til June 3rd? That doesnt sound right. Why arent they checking to put your mind at ease? Rain

Hi, I have independent healt in Buffalo and have been banded since June. I didnt have to do any 6 month diet or anything I just had to follow the plan by the hospital. I had mine done by Dr Hoffman at Buffalo general. It was pretty easy and simple they didnt make me do anything out of the ordinary. If you have anymore questions just ask Rain

Im sorry I missed it, I thought today was the 3rd Wednesday! I need to make a better effort to make it there I need some support! Maybe it will be easier now that its warming up.

Ok Girls, What do you think? I have gained 5 lbs in the last week and am so annoyed! I cant figure out if its me or if my band is broken. Besides a little extra Easter candy I havent been doing anything different. Im going to try and restrict my carbs and up my excercise for a few days and see if that helps. Has this happened to any of you? and what have you done to get back on track? My next appointment is not until May 13th so I need to figure this out before then. Any advice would be appreciated.
