Ok congrats. I was actually sleeved 10/20. I'm having a really difficult time with liquids. Hunger pains are killing me and today I gave in to eating solids. It was the worst decision I had made. Now I know this is going to be a tough road.

When did you get sleeved @@smb1966

I have posted several times before how hungry I am, and have been told that head hunger is taking over but this feeling is not getting better. I am already tired of drinking the same things over and over again. I know I'm not supposed to eat any food but I read that if I so eat to make sure I chew enough where the consistency is liquid like. Has anyone ever done this and if it's that bad what can I do to kick my head hunger pains.

My doc didn't say I needed to do a liquid diet they just told me that I had to do a 1000 calorie diet on my fitness pal app. I can't complain about that. Good luck on the liquid and I would love for us to be able to communicate during the process

I am in the middle stages or pre op and am excited to eventually be able to do things I couldn't do before.... but I asked my husband to not tell anyone I was doing WLS. I don't feel ashamed but do you think it's wrong for me to keep this a secret?

My husband and I were talking and he made a comment that hit close to home. He asked me if after the surgery will I change towards him or want him to loose weight. My husband is a big guy but I love him the way he is and he could lose a couple of pounds for medical concerns but I'm ok with him. Are any of you willing to admit if you are experiencing some change after WLS in regards to relationships or judegements?

Oh cool @@VegaJackie hopefully my husband will do the same but then again he's been saying he has to go to the gym everyday for the past 3 years. I guess one of my fears is that once I'm healthy that I don't become a bully or wander. Which it's not in my nature to do that but I'm sure it happens to people.

Good Morning, I am in the beginning stages of WLS but was wondering how post opt patients are maintaining their food consumptions. I am a social worker and have trouble eating all day. I was wondering if meals on wheels or healthy food packaged meals are ok to eat during this post opt process. Any thoughts?

Good evening everyone. I am new to bariatric pal and am I'm the beginning stages or bariatric surgery. I am awaiting my psych evaluation that I have to pay $275. My question is if anyone can answer it is if my insurance doesn't approve the surgery does the hospital give you your money back. Has anyone had this experience before?
