Well at least yours are only heading south. Mine have been there for a very long time and from what they told me they have no intention have on on visiting the North. lol. I can't imagine having to wait very long after I hit goal. Although It may happen that way. Seeing as the last 18lbs are happy where they are. I want to hit goal before I do this. I am not in that much of a hurry. Just don't want to wait 2 years. I really just want to get this part over with. I really feel odd having these flaps of skin hanging on me. Either way I just have to keep on keepin on. Thanks for the replies guys.

I was just told by my doctors exercise specialist that I have to wait 2 years for ant plastic surgery. Really? I am almost at a year and was thinking about getting a tt and breasts fixer upper.lol. In 4 months or so. I forgot to mention that to my doctor. I know that each doctor is different but is that true?

Dinner all the way. I get full real fast during the day time. When I get up I want to eat but I am a bit to tight for a real meal. I am a coffee person and then I eat a small lunch. I have a couple snacks, but it's dinner that I get a good meal in. My doctor wants me to eat 6 small meals. I have to keep working on that.

Someone that knows the ropes. I am excited to help my mom out. Oh, and Lucy there is so much love in this world, it is so sad people believe it should be limited to what they think is "normal". I am so sorry. Don't ever give up. Have you had a chance to go to a personal trainer. I heard they can really help teach a person how to jump start their body. Just an idea. I also heard there are certian foods that help speed things up. Maybe both a nutritionist and trainer may help. I wish you the best of luck and 66lbs is amazing.

10 more lbs? She looks skinny now. I think she should stick where she is. I loved her in The people vs. Larry Flint as well. She was amazing. I can't knock her acting ability.

Well it's comin up on 11 months since my surgery. I am happy with the results:D . Even though I am moving kinda slow. I have a 4.0 band and am filled to 3.55. I am tight but still don't struggle that much at all with foods. Once and a while steak and oranges give me trouble. The thing is I am having a heck of a time these past couple weeks. I have gone up and done 2 lbs. No big deal. The thing is I can't stop the snacking . I usually have a snack and its small. No big deal. Like I will have one peanutbutter cup or 20 chips. If I feel the craving. Not everyday. These past couple weeks I have really been over doing it:help: . I don't know why. I care for my band so I have always been careful. I am scarred those old habits are creeping up:mad: . I have 18 more lbs to go. They are the hardest for me. I don't have much room left for a fill. Strange thing is I feel like I want to get a tiny one just to get my head in place. Does anyone know what I mean:confused: . My last fill was about 2 months ago. So I guess I am just blabering. That struggle will always be there. How are all you doing with this battle? Also does it sound like a bad idea to get .10cc's put in? Just looking for a couple cents. 1 cent even 2 will help. lol. Thanks band pals.

Question about food getting stuck...
Hedwig replied to CajunCutie's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I rarely pb. When I do I get the slimes first. This lets me know something is stuck. Then I head off to the restroom. If I don't think it will pase. All I have to do Is gag and up it comes. I don't do this because I don't want the calories. I am uncomfortable and it needs to come out. Also it is only the bite that landed wrong. Not a whole meal. It is nothing like a long vomiting session. Sometimes I am just tight and take a bigger bite than I should. I would say in 10 months I have had a pb maybe six times. So really it isn't an on going thing. It can usually be avoided by taking smaller bites and chewing to goo. I have never had to stick my finger down my throat. The food is still sitting on top of my band. Everyone has a different experience. Really it sounds worse than it is. Just be careful of how you eat. Hope I helped. -
Cutie pie if I've ever seen one. She looks so cute. I am a hairstylist and have to say I don't think the stylist was listening to what you wanted though. Even though she looks so cute. Long layers means the longest hair will remain long and layers are place in the hair. It looks like she took off some length and removed lenth from in front of her ears in an angle. Either way she looks realy sweet.

I know it can be scary. I was afraid the day of surgery. More about other things. It happens so fast. I remember going in and the next thing I was trying to wave my hand around to get the nurse. It was so strange. If I didn't have a pain in my belly I wouldn't have known it happened. For me the pain was strange. It was a sharp feeling near my belly button. It was the port. I was so out of it I couldn't really speak. From the meds. I did however manage to wave my hand around to get the nurse. She asked if I was in pain. I grunted "yes". She gave me pain medication. Don't know what it was, and I didn't care. Right away I felt better. Mind you the pain wasn't that bad. I didn't want any pain. Anyway they gave me plenty of pain killers and I was fine by the time I headed home. In fact I slept the whole ride. Didn't feel a thing. It really isn't so bad. Nothing one can't handle. Atleast for me. It was worth all of the recovery. Once your home in your own bed you feel safe, ad comfortable. Well, the comfort of home atleast. I did take pain meds for 10 days or so. It really wasn't that bad. Everyone is different and has different experiences. For me coming on here and reading other peoples stories helped my nerves. I hope it does the same for you. I wish you the best of luck and a quick recovery.
