Hey guys, this might seem like an odd request but I don't really have anywhere else to ask this. I'm working on a gift for someone. It's a crochet scarf that's going to look like sheet music. White scarf with black lines and music notes on it. I want the notes to be from an actual piece of music so what I'm looking for is a piece of piano music that is kinda simple so I can crochet the notes but also kind of well known does that make any sense at all? thanks in advance if anyone can help

yea I would order it larger, it is easier to take it in later than to let it out

So last night my husband and I were meeting a friend at a restaurant for dinner. As we were pulling up I said to my husband remember I prefer a table not a booth (I feel too tight in a booth still) and he says, well [friend's name] prefers booths. We go in and meet her and I politely said to her do you mind if we get a table not a booth, then she goes up to the hostess and says can we please have a booth for three. GRRRRR I know it's minor but it really pissed me off

Yes I do this too. I try to find out where we're going ahead of time and look at their menu online and figure out what I want at home. My favorite so far has been the ahi tuna crisp apetizer at Friday's.

I still love food too, but I do feel differntly about food. I can have a bite or two of something I really love and stop there, I don't feel the need to keep eating. At Halloween I actually bought a bag of candy and had no problem eating one fun size piece a day. and only one -

even now I still find myself looking at a small portion on my plate and thinking "no way this is enough food, is this how skinny people eat?" -

Sophie74656 replied to Slim-Shady's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
That's what we usually do on Christmas day. On Christmas eve we have my husband's family over and on Christmas day we "honor my jewish heritage" and go see a movie and get chinese food LOL -
our YMCA was very expensive just for the gym. I go to Snap fitness which I love. It's 24 hours and not many people

Bad food cravings, any suggestions?
Sophie74656 replied to swiftie87's topic in Pre-op Diets and Questions
I have mac and cheese all the time. I just use my little bowl and eat my small portion. I think going cold turkey will lead to more cravings. I think that if you havve a craving for something then eat a little bit -
How long were you in operating room?
Sophie74656 replied to ladee2279's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I had the sleeve, my actual surgery was about an hour according to hubbs -
there are apps that can help you with timers and such. For me I just kept a big bottle of water in front of me so it was always in my sight. It also helped that it was still warm out when I had my sleeve so I was always thirsty.

The sleeve will resolve diabetes also. I like the idea of the sleeve because they actually remove your stomach and it includes the hunger hormone so you don't get that hunger anymore. -
Where did you all lose weight from first?
Sophie74656 replied to Sajijoma's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm loosing from the top down, my face is much thinner but not so much my bottom half. I look like a dripping candle -
I made myself some no rice sushi the other day and it was so good. Some super fresh salmon that I froze for a week and defrosted in the fridge. I cut it into slices and wrapped the in seaweed. I just ate it like a cigar and dipped it into soy sauce. It was so good.

My first "pureed" food
Sophie74656 replied to lahhleslie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
congrats on the loss. it's an interesting thing isn't it. I'm glad I can't eat much and have lost weight but sometimes it's dissapointing to be full after only a few bites. I made a slow cooker pulled pork for dinner tonight and it tasted so amazing that I was actually kind of sad that I could only eat three bites of it -
if you're taking pain medication don't drive. In general you can drive when your doctor says you can drive

Ive been out for sushi a couple times already and it was great. At first I just ordered the sashimi appetizer and that was enough. Last time I ordered the sashimi entree and was able to eat 2/3 of it and my husband finished it
