Hey sleevers! I was sleeved 8/31/2015 in NJ! My SW: 414 lbs (that becomes alot easier to say as I am losing weight, but my god was it tough to say in the beginning ) My CW: 296 and my GW (for now, this is what I set in the beginning of this journey) is 170lbs. I'd love to hear from everyone on how they are doing! (especially august sleevers!) If there is one thing ive learned through all of this, it is to take pictures! Some days I get down on myself because I have so much farther to go, but I go back to pictures and it brings me back to reality. here is my before and after picture, and Id love to see everyone elses! same shirt, 118lb difference

here is my update sleevers! I was sleeved on August 31, 2015 and I am down 118 lbs! i am 6 pounds away from my "half way mark" ! SW: 414 CW: 296 How is everyone else doing?! One thing I've learned through this is take pictures!! this is the same shirt, with a 118 lb difference. So when im not feeling like i've lost enough weight, i take to pictures! I would love to see everyone elses [emoji4]

Hey all! I was sleeved August 31 2015, and when I drink any type of liquid I get kind of like a cramp in my stomach. It only lasts about 10 seconds but its very uncomfortable. Does this happen to anyone else?

@@Thucydides I mean people notice, I'm just discouraged that I cant really tell or that my clothes still fit. I definitely get what youre saying about fitting in the car different,sitting in furniture different and even being able to cross my legs while sitting. I just dont see it in the mirror. Thankyou for replying, It means alot to be able to talk to somebody about this. congrats on losing 96 pounds!

it depends on your insurance. I had my first appointment, then had surgery a month after! That month was crazy though, I had so many doctors appointments and tests that had to be done but it was very quick!

Hey all! On August 31st 2015 I had the gastric sleeve surgery. since then I have lost 93 pounds! While it sounds like a dramatic weight loss, I dont feel much different. My starting weight was 414, and I am 5'11. Im still wearing the same size clothes, they just fit better than they did. It just doesn't make sense to me. I feel like I should dramatically look different after losing so much weight. Its kind of discouraging. If anyone can help, explain or share their story I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
