  3. This is the one I use. 30g per scoop, its Peanut Butter banana flavored and it tastes like a melted milkshake. You mix it with 8oz Water. Its not thick either, easy to get down!

    Help im craving tomato soup

I had tomato soup on day 3! i added some skim milk to it which made it creamy, along with some basil. Its actually my go to food for this liquid diet cause its yummmy! (i also have gastritis and a stomach ulcer and I was just fine!)
  9. @@ms8 you made a great choice! anyone ive talked to has nothing but great results from the sleeve! heres to a new journey! and ive never done forums either, but i tried this week and it makes it easier so you can talk to people that are going thru the same things you are! its been really helping me get along!! wish you the best!
  10. @@carmenalivet that sounds great! and youre lucky youre allowed to eat yogurt! im only allowed chobani original no flavor, which tastes like sour cream to me! haha @@ryebread icy orange sounds good, ill have to try that!! let me know how it is! thats awesome!!!!
  11. I was sleeved on August 31! I have to stay on a liquid diet for 3 weeks and its tough! So far I've had : chicken broth, tomato soup, sugar free jello, sugar free pudding, sugar free ice pops, chobani yogurt and carnation instant breakfast. (none of which have made me sick!) But i need something else besides this, although the pudding (with skim milk ofcourse) and the tomato soup (also with skim milk) have really been getting me through! Anybody have any other idea as to what you can eat while on this liquid diet?!
  12. @@ryebread yes! Ive tried the grape and the apple melon, they taste like sand to me! @@gabbisha really?! I see my doc on the 9th, so lets see what he says!
  13. @@ryebread thanks girl! it's definitely tough to get through, but one week is already down! I have to find a protein that I like, cause I havent found one yet
  14. thankyou guys! I know its only a short time, but it feels like it will take forever! Just trying to stay positive about the process!

    Sleep problems?

I was sleeved Aug 31. I had trouble sleeping more than 3 hours for about 4 days! (Mostly because I had to sleep on my back because my stomach was in such bad pain from the surgery and gas) But it gets better! I'm 6 days post - op and can finally sleep on my side/belly. Hope you get some sleep soon!

    Having a hard time

I thought I was the only one who felt like this! My head hunger is the WORST thing I'm dealing with. And i'm not even actually hungry. I just keep thinking about food that I cant have, and its not even like bad food. Like I'd kill to have an egg, or a piece of meat. (its this liquid diet part that stinks, you dont feel like you're actually eating) And then you think to yourself that you made a mistake by getting the surgery done. But, its our minds playing tricks on us! I just keep reminding myself why I did this, and that I'll be able to eat solid foods soon. Remember, this stage is only temporary, and so so so worth it. hang in there, it gets better !!

    Any August 31st Sleevers?

I was sleeved on the 31st too! Im not in much pain at all compared to mon-thurs pain. Im starting to drink more liquids, I'm up to 40 0z a day (not enough but trying) and I'm not doing so hot with protein (every one I try, it tastes gross to me) Every other liquid I eat goes down fine. I haven't vomited from anything yet. My only issue is that I have gurgling and gas bubbles all day! Other than that, I feel pretty good! Anybody have any tips so far about the gas bubbles?!
