Hi. I am 6 days post op. I also suffer from PCOS. I can handle the missed periods but the facial hair drives me bonkers!! I have to shave under my chin daily. Soooo embarrassing! My husband knows about it but we don't talk about it cause it is so embarrassing. I also had laser treatments. Was told that it would take about 9 treatments to rid my face of the hair. 12 sessions later nothing had changed. I spoke with the owner who told me that most treatments don't work on those with PCOS. I was furious! I told them before I paid them 2k that I had PCOS. So now they wanted more money but couldn't guarantee results. I tried to get my money back but to no avail. I really hope that at the least my facial hair will grow slower and not as much as I lose weight and get close to my goal weight. Good luck to all of you Ladies ????????

I did a low carb/sugar diet that was mostly liquids. I did this for two weeks. Liquids all day until dinner when I had a salad with protein in it or protein and maybe a cup of a steamed vegetable. My fluids were a mix of water, crystal light, and protein shakes. Then I did a full clear liquid the last 23 hours. My doctor said my liver looked great and it was a clean easy surgery!!!

I did a lot of walking today and feeling the pain tonight ????

I am doing okay. I have great hours and not so great hours. I still need aome OTC meds. I am not doing good with fluids. I have to do better. Tomorrow is a new day and a new week so I am going to put my best foot forward!

I really like the Unjury protein powder Chicken Soup Flavor and the Pantry Selections Cream of Chicken. I will do some store bought ones sometimes but they don't have the protein.

I honestly haven't craved anything. I am not hungry at all. Apple juice is the only thing I want. Crazy. I am having a hard time getting my calories because of this. I am trying with broth and protein drinks and I like them but don't love them. It is crazy.

I am so sorry you had to go through all of this. I am sorry I haven't been much help since having my surgery on Monday. I am so happy we went to San Diego though and you got some good care. Now please just pass the stone so you can feel better!!!

Well I am a little hurt by my Mexico team. Since we had to leave a day early and I didn't have my last meeting with @@Dr. Altamirano I really thought someone would have called me. Or even emailed me here. I can't believe they aren't curious about how I am doing after surgery or how things went for you in The San Diego hospital. They treated me great while I was there but the lack of follow up has me hurt and sad. ????

Sorry. I am doing great but have soreness and low energy. Been a wild week. My husband got food poisoning then kidney stones while we were there.

Looking so forward to having surgery with Dr. A, his staff and the Bariatric Pal team on December 7th!!! I can say after all my research and speaking with Dr. A via face time I am very comfortable putting this big decision I have made in his hands!! So excited!! Yay!!!!

Thanks for taking care of me. Can't believe I got food poisoning and then kidney stones while in Mexico for your surgery. And had to be rushed back across the border to ER in San Diego because hospital in Mexico was unable to control the kidney stone pain and nausea. Thankfully you had a great surgery and are doing awesome despite all of my attempts to derail your journey. Lol. Lol. Yeah overall I am very pleased with my experience in Mexico. They took awesome care of me and 4 days post op I am having an amazing recovery! Now if you could please pass that stone so we can get started on our new active lifestyle, I would appreciate it. Hehe. ????

Yes I had one repaired. I was told it is pretty common in people who are obese.

I am doing pretty good. Sore on my left side. Some chest gas pains. Been very active because the night of my surgery my husband got good poisoning then kidney stones. At one point we shared a room and were both hooked to an iv. Sure was a funny sight. Not fun but have some crazy memories to look back on!!!

Well, I am here in Tijuana after a long day of flying from Kentucky. My surgery is at 2pm tomorrow local time. I am SO excited to be so close to my new life. I need all the thoughts and prayers you guys can send my way!!!

I am doing better than I thought I would be! The gas pain in my chest was the worst part of it all Quick healing to you!!!
