Hi,
Insurance will not cover my surgery, so I have decided to go to Mexico and have my Surgery with Dr. A!
After doing research, and after the failure of my husband's LapBand, I have decided to go with the Sleeve.
I have been overweight most of my life, and at 35 years old now I have decided it is time for a major change. I am bigger than ever at this point of my life.
After spending 35 years of eating what ever I wanted and enjoying it I came to the conclusion that if I am going to make it another 35 years something has to be done to get my weight in reverse.
I am probably just like everyone else on here, I have tried all the diets. I do lose weight but then it just stops and then I feel like I am eating better and/or exercising for nada. So then I quit. I know I can lose weight, I just need some help. I love to get out and walk and enjoy nature. I can't wait to be smaller and go on the hikes I have always wanted to.
I had the sleeve surgery on 12/7/2015. Two months out and I am down about 55 pounds!! I am down about 76 pounds from my heaviest in the summer of 2015.
I'll Keep this updated :o)
