Gained 8 lbs in 1 month and I am 17 months postophi
UalreadyKnow replied to Sexy Granny's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
The dark green BM is sometimes caused by drinking or eating things with red or blue food dye!! (Think artificially flavored grape things) As for the weight gain... You've done it before, you can do it again!! Start with the 5 day reset and do whatcha gotta do!!! Good luck!!! -
What did you weigh when you started running?
UalreadyKnow replied to j16's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I run on my treadmill now. I just recently started. I'd say I was weighing 225 when I started (now 219) my treadmill has different workouts like rolling hills, park, I prefer the "coastal trails" It warms you up and also changes the incline! I had to run through the mall a couple days ago as the cashier kept my ATM card, I was in 4 inch heels and ran a good 10minutes (I was in heels ok?) dodging all kinds of obstacles and what do you know? I was able to talk to the cashier without passing out! My 15 year old athletic son was saying Damn mom, you ran and in heels!!! My advice... Be like Nike and just do it!!! -
Congrats and good luck!

Scared that this is how it always will be!
UalreadyKnow replied to lyndsayt's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I've actually done that, I mixed it with a little pb2. It was ok. The easiest way for me is mixing it in with my coffee, I actually enjoy it like that!! Changing things up is essential!!! Good luck! -

Best moment was when my 9 year old daughter hugged me and noticed she could finally touch her fingers when wrapping her arms around my waist!! -
Ok, so I've been power walking for about 2months now and decided a couple weeks ago that I can start running. At the speed of a turtle but nevertheless running. Now I'm up 3lbs! Is this "muscle"? my monthly visitor has also been visiting a hell of a lot more often lately, once a month has turned into 3 weeks maybe skipping a day or two between visits. But I was still losing when this new phenomenon started, I think it's honestly because of the running!! Whatcha think?

Woo hoo!!!!!!!! Good for you!!!!

I have to say, I never took any narcotics after coming home from 2 c-sections, and the sleeve was a piece of cake. Didn't need pain meds at all. It was a bit painful, but not unbearably so. Good luck!!

It truly is a great feeling!!! I started this journey just 8 months ago wearing a 30/32. I've always loved shopping but grew to hate it because of the way i looked. Shopping is now fun again!! @@cindyw41 Congrats on your size 14's!!! I've also put on my old jean shorts and my jaw dropped. This surgery is a blessing and I am forever grateful to my surgeon!! -

I would reply with something like, no, I'm sad that you have nothing else to do but think about me, bless your heart. But really if your obsession with me continues, HR will be involved. If it continues, you know what's next!! -

@@UalreadyKnow where did you get the cinnamon bun flavor protein? Sounds great for my coffee. I very much enjoy Iso 100 Protein Powder, I once read an article on here about how all the powders come with added glutamine and stuff like that, and "that"added protein comes from hair and fingernail particles. Ewwwwww, so this stuff is as clean as it gets no nails in my protein please it's pure whey isolate and tastes amazing IMO! I buy at nutri pro or Vitamin shoppe

When will I stop regretting this surgery?
UalreadyKnow replied to LadyJustice007's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
have you tried eating sugar free Popsicles? They honestly satiated my thirst early on when it was painful to sip! -
With approval from my surgeon and NUT, I drink 2 scoops of my protein powder mixed with my decaf coffee in the morning. It gets me going and gives me 50gms of protein to start my day! (For this purpose,I choose cinnamon bun flavored protein) then I usually eat as normal (low carb-high protein) or sip on an Isopure throughout the day. I'm 8 months out and 127 lbs down! Good luck
