So as the title suggests I am mad at myself. Not looking for sympathy just more as a warning to those who are about to have the surgery or just had it.... I went back to all my old bad habits. I lost my mom less than a year afterwards and the depression set in. I'm gonna try and get help for where my brain is at. I've gained just about all my weight back. And I know I can get it off but it will take time. Any advice on where to start as far as the gym. Hugs Sent from my SM-A326U using BariatricPal mobile app

BIG NEWS! Several insurers are REMOVING supervised diet requirements
newmebithebypass replied to Walter Lindstrom's topic in Insurance & Financing
Here's the thing. I don't find value in not receiving nutritionist guidance from your surgeons office. On so many boards I see what am I supposed to eat questions. Well where was the guidance from your bariatric clinic Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -

BCBS 6 month diet requirements [emoji31] help! Any options?
newmebithebypass replied to Butterfly512's topic in Insurance & Financing
So I will say depending on your surgeon. They may personally have requirements for you besides just the 6 months of weigh ins. Like pulmonary and cardiologist and an endocrinologist. Oh and some even request an up to date pap smear. So those 6 months do go by when you are completing your surgeons requirements. Also no insurance will pay for your surgery without a psychiatric evaluation Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -

newmebithebypass replied to sideeye's topic in The Lounge
You're so right hon. We talked and I told him I can't eat like crap anymore. So we're gonna finish what's in the freezer the ready made crap because well we ain't got money to just trash it. Then we're meeting the both of us with our nutritionist. I sure as hell ain't going back up to 311. Nope downward progress only. And I also have to be more accountable myself. I know there are days when we will just hit a drive through so salad with grilled chicken Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -

Me and the husband advice please
newmebithebypass posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey y'all. So I'm 6 months post op and my husband is 3-5 months away from surgery. And I need advice from the veterans. Anyone go through this with your partner. We don't eat the best and like most overweight couples are each other's worst enablers. We don't like to say no to the other and sometimes it's just easier to grab fast-food. What advice do you have for us. I'd love to meal prep but our freezer is kinda small and almost always filled to capacity. I know we should probably anex the ready to eat things and spend a day cooking. But it does seem like tons of work so hellllllp Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -

Me and the husband advice please
newmebithebypass replied to newmebithebypass's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks y'all. I know I have tons more resources to my disposal if I just met with my nutritionist as a group meeting with my husband. I just feel bad I've veered so off plan this early Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -
So both me and the husband were close to 150 overweight when I started my process last year. My husband is 11 years older than me. Now my husband is slowly completing the process for surgery. We are each other's worst enablers. I'll even admit it. I need to get much better at setting limitations on the type of food that comes into the house. Also we need to get better about cooking for the week and doing meal prey then fast food. We've both been in a huge funk Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app

newmebithebypass replied to MomOf3+3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So I'm 6 months post op and I never ever had any issue with water. Or protein drinks. Heck I got a 13oz one in under a half hour the day after surgery Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -
I'm freezing all the time now. Socks and heated blankets are life now. I'm considering a queen sized heated blanket and a personal heater for next to my side of the couch Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app

Surgery after RNY- no protein powder no vitamins???
newmebithebypass replied to Sweettoothless's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
So my calcium plan personally is 1000mg of calcium 3 weeks of the month then take a week off. It has to only be the calcium citrate with d. Because any other formula causes kidney stones Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app -
