It's less time than you think I started in August and have until February for my nutritionist classes and I can't believe how much I'm learning. Plus all the friends I'm making. I only have one more appointment then I can start scheduling all the tests I need for the Surgeon. Seriously your not going to regret having to wait 6 months because it gives you time to work on 1 bad habit a month -
Losing Family and Friends

I realized early on in my life that some people mostly women keep people as "friends" as a yard stick for seeing well at least I'm not as bad as so and so. Sort of a schadenfreude in a way once you stop letting your life be their schadenfreude then they lose interest in you. Same with reality TV -
Beginning my Journey

I'm on month 3 of 6 for insurance purposes and I have to tell you these 3 months have flown by I see my nutritionist once a month for weigh ins and support groups at the same time and its just awesome to have a group of women going through it with it with me -
3 1/2 months and I'm eating like I used to~

If you know what foods are triggers for you don't buy them. For me its the snack cakes hot pockets cereal and chips. I could consume my weight in all of those in a week so we don't buy them. My hubby also knows hot dogs are a weakness of mine. I can eat a full 32 pack in 4 days so there banned -

I'm a diabetic and I'm working with an endocrinologist to control my diabetes for this surgery and she put me on a medicine called victoza it has two benefits it lowers your a1c and it helps you lose weight. I've lost 5 pounds and my a1c is 6.1 so you might want to go that route -

I'm fairly new my self but I am half way done my sixth month wait its gone by super quick I've only lost 4 pounds but that's 4 pounds I'll never see again. As for chickining out your gonna be fine once you go and meet your Surgeon you'll know your in good hands 6 months * 6months* -

It could be your body with drawling from sugar caffeinated beverages carbs. Sugar is really hard to withdrawal from and you should feel better in a couple of days -
I had two sleep studies and while it was a little difficult to fall asleep with all the sensors on the bed is very comfy not your standard hospital bed its a real mattress and box spring

If you have a teavanna near you they have amazing decaffeinated loose leaf teas that you buy by the ounce. I have a chai and chamomile blend that I drink in the winter time
