    Who Are You?

My name is Jessica and I'm 24 and in Baltimore MD. My battle with weight started when my mom died when I was 7 I remember that's when the depression and bipolar kicked in. I've gotten my mental health mostly under control but in desperate need of therapy for my past abuse history and food issues. Also I am getting gastric sleeve done once these dietician visits are up in February. I truly can't wait because I am newly married and want to enjoy my husband and our life

Is / was your nutritionist all that helpful?

I might have to change programs entirely starting the first of the year and if I do I will be sad I truly think that my nut is the only reason I've been this successful with pre-op weight loss. But I won't know anything until Monday. I also love my Surgeon so I really don't want to switch but if it comes down to my surgery Being paid for or not I'll have to go through insurance

    BLACK FRIDAY WLS DEALS

@@BLERDgirl there's a site I don't know if you know about it called myfrugaladventures and coupon clippers. The first one tells you all the deals and good coupons for the week and has a coupon data base the second one lets you buy coupons in bulk and you can save hundreds or thousands of bucks a year if your store doubles coupons. My favorite store is shoprite because they double dollar coupons
  11. I just recently told my dad. I'm married with no kids but I handle all his medical stuff and I'm closest with him of all my siblings and I thought he would be against it but he's super happy that I'm doing something about my weight after all these years were getting healthy together because we've always been big. I told my hubby and his whole family and they frankly are rock stars and are cheering on every pound lost and every milestone
  12. Damn I was hoping that wasn't the case because I really love my nutritionist she's just awesome but looks like I'm changing at the first of the year I'll call gbmc on Monday and get the ball rolling so I don't miss a month I really really hope the program at gbmc is just as awesome as the one at ummc

It depends on how long you were a diabetic. And how much insulin you take everyday. Some people never fully get off insulin because they have been diabetics for decades hope this helps

What have I done to myself?

For people that get dizzy when they stand up too quickly its a condition called orthostaic hypertension its very common with weight loss surgery and might go away on its own when your out of the losing phase ive had it my whole life and my best tips are to go slooooooow when switching from sitting to standing its not a race plus if you fall due to dizziness you could knock yourself out
