    They won't help themselves...

I have a friend like that he's constantly depressed and lonely but refuses to take psych meds to help with the depression. Refuses to see a doctor about his weight even though he's pushing 500 pounds and it would solve so many of his problems. Honestly I just smile and nod at this point

  8. I asked my extremely obese friend if he ever would consider wls and left it at that when I told him about my choice because I'm afraid I will lose my friend at the age of 40 due to his weight.

    Surgery is tomorrow!

If you don't tolerate anesthesia well or even if its a mild reaction ask for the anti-nausea patch they put behind your ear that you can wear for 3 days its amazeballs
  16. So far my husbands entire immediate family knows my dad knows and a couple of our close friends know I've gotten nothing but love and support and that is just awesome. My work family oddly enough is my husbands family long story there but there's only one person at the office that doesn't know but he's new and I don't know him that well and he's not family so he probably won't be told IMHO

    Taking the Plunge - Questions?

Ok so a center of excellence is a special designation a hospital gets for having a low complications rate with surgery. Some insurance requires you to use these hospitals because they are typically in net work and better than a standard hospital. I am getting bcbs anthem next year and they require a blue designation hospital so I am switching programs half way through

    Taking the Plunge - Questions?

first call your insurance and see if you need a referal from your pcp to see the surgeon and if it needs to be a center of excellence if it neededs to be a center of excellence in my experince you can do your weigh ins with the nut because they will provide you with one thats what i am doing
