I love your positivity you rock and hey that's a lot of weight in one year congratulations -
I have a friend like that he's constantly depressed and lonely but refuses to take psych meds to help with the depression. Refuses to see a doctor about his weight even though he's pushing 500 pounds and it would solve so many of his problems. Honestly I just smile and nod at this point

What did you tell people about your absence?
newmebithebypass replied to Good apple's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So far my husbands entire immediate family knows my dad knows and a couple of our close friends know I've gotten nothing but love and support and that is just awesome. My work family oddly enough is my husbands family long story there but there's only one person at the office that doesn't know but he's new and I don't know him that well and he's not family so he probably won't be told IMHO -

newmebithebypass replied to MissKay's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok so a center of excellence is a special designation a hospital gets for having a low complications rate with surgery. Some insurance requires you to use these hospitals because they are typically in net work and better than a standard hospital. I am getting bcbs anthem next year and they require a blue designation hospital so I am switching programs half way through -
