I'm sorry you are having doubts and your family isn't super supportive but just remember this is your life and you have to live it. Well typically you will need about 2 weeks off and have a lifting restrictions for a bit about 10 pounds just listen to your body if you have never been under anesthesia before ask for the patch behind your ear to ward off nausea also if you are nervous they can give you meds for that. Typically the iv will be placed in your hand because you move around a bit and they don't want to risk it coming out. I've been on cpap for 4 years now and I love love my machine and my mask make sure it's tight properly when I get a new mask I always tighten it standing up then lay down and finish adjusting it and I roll around in bed making sure there are no leaks I do everything I would do while asleep also I adjust my mask while my machine Is on to make sure it is a good seal maybe that can help some of you guys Sent from my SM-T380 using BariatricPal mobile app
