    Just banded on Feb 11

Hi I was also banded 2/11, have not weighed myself yet but i think i have lost a few pounds. I find Fiber supplements added to everything really helps me. and low calorie rice pudding with mushed fruit fills me up for hours. 10 calorie jelly is a great snack to. it takes me 1 hour or more to drink a slim fast shake so i usually have half for Breakfast and half for dinner. and anyone with a upset stomach/indigestion,bloating should try Bio yoghurt it works straight away for me. keep up the good work guys. Jennie

    February Bandsters

Hi Everyone! I was banded Monday 11 Feb was told: 1st week Clear liquids, 2nd week thicker liquids, 3rd week mashed food with liquids, 4th-7th week introduce normal food but take it easy/slowly. Had operation in Belgium and i has taken me till now to get back to myself. But feeling much better now i think traveling home to England the day after operation was a very stupid idea especially as the train service in the UK is notoriously crap and we had delays over 3 hours getting home on a bus as the train broke down. I would recommend anyone getting the op, to stay in hospital or a good local hotel for a few days after the operation to recover and heal. Good Luck Guys Jennie

  6. Hi Im jennie from north england, Im looking into lap band surgery in Europe because of the high prices in the Uk. Has anyone any advice to offer? I've been in touch with Belgium and prague Belgium is closer has a better rep but only offer fill up and aftercare in london 6 hours away from me. Prague i know little about the hospital but if offers fill ups and aftercare just 1 hour away in Newcastle and is also a little cheaper. Has anyone been to Prague, Belgium or anywhere in Europe for surgery. Thank's Jennie
