Ok, I am FREAKING OUT! I got a really good fill about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It was super tight for the first week and then I felt like I got used to it after that. It had been going great until today, well this weekend. I got food poisoning on Friday and was sick all weekend, but not vomiting. Today at lunch (which I am usually very tight and can't eat much) I ate some lasagna with no problem. Then tonight at supper I ate more than I had all weekend. I am just completely paranoid that I have messed my band up with this sudden total lack of restriction. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!:sad::thumbup:

I have also lost about 8lbs since the fill so maybe it got looser or something. I feel a bit more restriction today but still not like I had before. It almost felt like I didn't have a band yesterday and it scared me!

I am so glad to find this thread! I feel like I am the slowest loser ever! I did really well during the first 4 months and then nothing. I think it will help once school starts again and I don't have as much free time to eat! I haven't had a fill in 2 months (as recommended by my doctor) and gained 2 lbs last month! I don't totally blame it on restriction but some choices I made too. Since my last appointment I have been counting my foods on thedailyplate.com and walking a mile every day. Hopefully this will help make a difference! My doctor bet me a dollar to lose 5 lbs by next appt. so I have to do it!!

I don't know if this really qualifies but it has been just over 6 months since I have had a cigarette! Today is my 6 month bandiversary and I just thought I would share!

I like the EAS chocolate shakes pretty well. I agree that Syntrax Nectar-Roadside lemonade is really good! Not some gross thick shake. If you go to bariatriceating.com you can also order a sample pack to try out a variety before you buy a giant jar of something. Hope this helps!!:tongue2:

I was starting to think I was alone in this situation. I was banded on 01/08/08 and lost about 30lbs in the first 2 months. Since then I haven't lost anything. I was getting very down about the whole thing but after reading this I feel much better. I think it was just what I needed to get recommited to getting results. Thanks so much everyone!!:wink2:

So sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I searched everywhere and can't find them at home. I must have put them in the last garage sale. I found them to be pretty difficult and fast paced. I think you would need a strong dance background to be successful with these. I think I will just stick to my Turbo Jam. Good luck!

:thumbup:CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so jealous. I hope the same happens to me someday! -
I have/had those videos. Let me see if I can find them and you are more than welcome to have them. They were just a little too hard for me. I will let you know!:smile2:

Count me in! Hopefully this will kick me into to exercising. I have been so lazy since surgery!!:smile2:

I would love you forever if you sent them to me! I am entering the size 20 range and have no pants! I would be more than willing to reimburse you or pay you for them. Let me know!!

I am just wondering how much and what you guys are eating for meals. I haven't had a fill yet and I was banded on the 8th. I just feel like I am eating alot. I am only having like 1500 calories a day and am steadily losing about 2lbs a week. I have cut my portions but it still seems like I still get eat. Maybe I am just too used to diets where you can't eat anything or just getting over the liquid diet thing. Any advice would be good.....:confused:HELP!!
-
I guess I am just paranoid since I don't feel a whole lot of restriction. I am not overeating but I do get full. I just think I should be getting fuller faster. Hopefully that will all change when I get my first fill on the 18th!

I just wanted to let you guys know that this is a great website for helping to keep track of calories, protein, exercise and things like that. I am quite addicted to it and just wanted to pass it along!:frown:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so happy for you. 4 less days to think about it!!

I went to my PCP yesterday to ask about all the medicines I am currently taking. He told me to quit one all together, stop taking one after the bottle was done and monitor my blood pressure so I can possibly get off that too! That was the best news EVER. I despise taking prescription medication so I am super excited. I also found out that I have lost 16lbs in a week and a half. INSANITY. I am so happy I made the decision to be banded and have gotten a second chance at LIFE! Have a great day!!!

I had been walking about 3 miles a week for the last 6 weeks or so but just can't get motivated to get back to it since surgery. Hopefully I can do at least a mile this week. Today was my first day back at work so I am just taking it slow!!!

THUNDER WHEELS - What is the fill process with Dr. Snow? I was originally going through AIGB but I think I would rather go to his office! LKGRUBB- I was very nervous up until the day of surgery and then just calm because I knew I was making a good decision. ROAD KING - Good luck! I am glad I was approved and scheduled within a week or I would have driven myself crazy thinking about it!

Yeah Texans! I am way out in East Texas and was banded on Tuesday. Let me know if I can help!

I was banded on Tuesday and am doing well so far. Most of the gas is gone, a little constipated though (sorry). I finally get to take the bandages off today, they are driving me crazy! I plan on going back to work on Monday. The only real pain is trying to stand up to fast and some issues sleeping!

New to the Boards and will be banded soon!

I just started looking at this site towards the end of December. I thought it would take a while to go through insurance approval but I was approved in like 2 weeks! I am having surgery on Tuesday. Things have just happened so quickly. Any last minute advice? -
