My stomach has been extra sensitive today. That's why I didn't fit my goal. Even the Zofran hasn't helped. I have a feeling I'll have a few more days like this.

I am almost 3 weeks post op. I am having the most awful back pain. Is this normal after surgery? Anyone else experience this?

Thanks yall! I've had the occasional back ache here and there over the years. But this one is just a constant unrelieved pain.

Years ago I had to see a plastic surgeon to have a mole on my face removed. She told me anytime you have a surgery scar us vitamin e oil. I used it in my face back then and you can't see the scar at all. I still have the glue over my incisions from my sleeve surgery but once it comes off I plan on using the vitamin e oil to help with the scarring.

I got my unjury sample pack last night. I mixed the strawberry with lemonade and it was tolerable. I'm a little nervous to try the rest Bc I've had such a hard time with Protein.

My dr said 7 days. However I was driving by day 4 Bc I was off pain meds and didn't see any reason not to.

I was just wondering if anyone who had taken the gallbladder medication still ended up needing to have their gallbladder removed.

I start purées on Wednesday. I never in my life thought I'd be so excited to eat purées! I can only imagine at the end of purées phase how excited I'll be to move onto soft food! This full liquid mess is so tasteless and boring! I've already got my meals planned out, lol! My question is would turkey chili be ok to purée? I made a batch to freeze before surgery it's not spicy at all. So I was wondering if that would be ok to purée. And how long did you wait to eat spicy food again?

My dr said 3 weeks. I am 2 weeks post op today. We waited 12 days. Haha!

I was sleeved the same day !! ????I haven't lost any hair yet ... Mine is so thin as it is ... Oh well what are gonna do ... I have really thin hair, so i really worry when i start losing hair I will have bald spots.

When were you able to tolerate hot sauce?

I am a week and a half post op. My dr wants me to get at least 60grams of protein a day. I am really struggling with it. I've tried premier protein, isopure, isopure unflavored mixed with things, and I've tried nectar. None of them sit well with me. I am forcing nectar down as we speak but it sits like a rock in my tummy and I never reach my 60gram goal. It worries me I am not getting my protein, does anyone have any suggestions for me?

That's the first I've heard of that. In the hospital they gave me ice to eat. I use ice all day long.

I went into this expecting to lose like maybe 6 to 8 pounds max the first couple of weeks. So losing what I have has been somewhat of a shock to me. I don't personally know anyone who has had any weight loss surgery. my husband was asking what the most someone lost in 2 weeks was just outta curiosity Bc we both thought 17 was insane. I don't have anyone personally to ask since I don't know anyone with the surgery. Sorry if this post irritated or offended.

I am not trying to compare or make anyone feel bad, I was simply curious to see what the max amount someone has lost in the first two weeks.

I know in the beginning its sip,sip, sip, do you ever get to drink like normal again? If so at what point do you get to take Regular thirst quenching drink of water?

I am 5 days post op and still having 1 oz every 15 minutes. I sip it as slow as I possibly can but I'm done within the first 3 minutes. Should it take me 15 minutes to sip the one oz or should I sip slowly and start sipping again in 15 minutes? Depending on the beverage sometimes my stomach gets really upset. Help please!
