About Me

My weight gain has been a lifelong in adventure, I have been an athlete all my life with a propensity to gain weight if not kept in check. I have gained, lost, gained, lost and gained and lost. I then suffered a back injury that required back surgery, prior to this I was diagnosed with diabetes, and the slow weight gain began. When I was permanently put on Insulin weight gain at a slow rate became the norm with no easy answers for weight lose. I hit my heaviest weight just prior to starting the Bariatric Journey was 320 lbs. I am currently at 270 lbs, and seem to have hit a permanent plateau, my surgery date is May 31, 2016 and I am hoping for a complete reversal of diabetes with not having to take anymore insulin or any other medications.

I hope I am not being over optimistic,

Please drop me a line if you have any words of advice or encouragement.

Thanks,
