    Catherines is having a SALE!!!

I sure hope this is not spam... I don't work for them or anything, I just love a good SALE!!! I went into the Catherines by Collin Creek Mall today and noticed that they have several racks marked 70% off the markdown. So I was really happy that I went in today. Well... When I went to the checkout the lady told me that everything with a red dot is going to be marked 80% off on Sunday, the 40% off items will be 50% off, and that the regular priced items will be 40% off. So... I am going back again on Sunday. Hope to beat you there!!!

I visited their website and it seems they are all having the sale. I am going to the Rockwall one tomorrow to check it out... You could always call your local store to make sure before you make the trip.

    Port Site

I used ice, and only ice post op. It seemed to help me. The port pain was the worst, but luckily it goes away.

Here is my checkin for the day. Eating less, and feeling that rock feeling in my chest when I eat today. This band really is fickle... every day a different story. Ate 3" of a subway sub (toasted, and tore away most of the bread). It was pretty good. Went to Sprouts and bought the most beautiful cherries. Can't wait to try them!!! As for the liquids. I have had: 12 ounces coffee 50 ounces Water (2 1/2 bottles... working on the rest) 16 ounces Crystal Light lemonade Another smiley face for me!!!! Hope all of you are smiling too!!!

    Rosacea

My face actually looks good. I have been using the person and covey cleanser every day, and the bare escentuals or the smokey mountain mineral make up every day. My face looks clearer and does not hurt. Not to mention I am quite a hottie with some war paint on. (I have not worn makeup in 12+ years). Feels like a brand new me. The real test will be this winter though. That seems to be my worst time of the year. Good luck to all you hotties out there!

    colon cleanse?

All I know is that if I take a little of the supercolon cleanse everyday and use it as directed on the weekend, I feel better. No constipation. Even if that is all it does is keep me regular, I am happy. No one likes a constipated poodle.

    Meat... bandster style...

I just made something that someone might like. Easy to eat. 2 lbs ground turkey, 1 large jalapeno seeded and diced, 1/2 cup cilantro. Cook all together with some garlic pepper. Yummy! Serve with a little avacado... goodness!!!:hungry:
  12. I can eat ground turkey and ground meat, but solid pieces of chicken, or steak will not work. Even when I "coat" it with something. Do you have any suggestions? recipes? Sometimes I feel that the ground meat will go thru the band too quickly? Am I insane?.... oh wait, we know I am.... What do you guys think?

Felt a little more restriction today, but only in the morning. Tonight I ate a nice size meal, 2 tacos, guacomole, sour cream, ice cream. Guess liquid does not fill you up... I am sloshing!!!!

    June 2006 Band Crew

Well, I thought my fill was gone until this morning. I sat down and tried 1/2 cup of meat and a little bit of avacado. Was really good and filled me up. Just different each day I guess. And I do think the bottle of water before I ate helped. For PMS cravings I have been eating Ice Cream (low carb) way too much of it, but it sure is good. 3 bottles down girls... 60 ounces. Now I am off to have some crystal light lemonade. Have you been having trouble with timings? I know we need to finish drinking 5-10 minutes before we eat, and not drink until 1 hour after we eat. I am having trouble keeping track. I just guestimate for the hour after. Anyone have any tips? Cindy- In the words of Scarlett: "tomorrow is another day". One day at a time girl. We all just have to kick the carb demon one day at a time.

    Jack's Harem

Oh my gosh... My Hubby is Jealous. I was watching the Simpsons tonight and Jack was on there. I said. "Oh, I love Jack.", and he said, "You know, if I was stalking a woman on the internet, you would throw a fit." I said, "are you jealous?", his reply, "No, not really, but you sure talk about that man every time we watch the Simpsons." I laughed and said, "If you only knew the beautiful way Jack words things." Even "cut up your meat into chicklet size pieces" is poetry to me. Then he rolled his eyes. Guess I am going to have to think "I love Jack" the next time I watch the Simpsons.

    Favorite Motivational Saying

My favorite is on my sig. Be bold, true, stout-hearted, and brave. To me this means: Be bold in everything you try, true to everyone around you, stout-hearted so you don't give up, and brave enough to change. It is something I made up a while back to engrave on a ring that I wear everyday...

Funny, I just went there. It says I need to keep my calories between 1220 and 1570. I think I can handle that.
  22. Uhmm, I think every body is different. Before I went low carb I never had a cycle, and my cholesterol was 298. After Low carb my cycles returned to normal, and my cholesterol went down to 201. I added Milkthistle to my Vitamins and my cholesterol went down to 188. As for anorexia... I wish... If I don't stay low carb my PCOS attacks. I must take my Multivitamins or I crave sweets. But as for having a bad attitude... get bent....just kidding! I follow the Swartzbein Principal diet more than Atkins. It is more tailored for women, and has specific vitamins to help with sugar cravings and mood swings. Post band I have been taking a chewable multi, and the Vitamin shoppe liquid multi for the b vitamins. I think we all need a good vitamin no matter what we eat.

Well hell. I think I have a fickle silicone fist (like Jack...***deep sigh***I love Jack). This morning I could barely get down 1/2 cup of Protein (hamburger meat). What a pain. I stepped on the scale and still only 15 lbs down. But still better than nothing. Went over to the July thread. It was just like reading ours. We all have the same issues and concerns. Good thing we have each other too.

    July 2006 Band Crew

Hello all. I am a June Bandster, but they have been talking about you over there, so thought I would come take a look at your thread. You know one thing I wish I had done was read the other months threads. It seems we all go thru the same ordeal. Please feel free to read the June thread... but don't egg us. I can't eat eggs. If you throw something make it sweet... Good luck to all of the July Bandsters. Gives new meaning to the word "independance" now doesn't it???
