Hello! I'm Marlene, mid-thirties, live south of Fort Worth, Texas, USA. I'm married, no children, three cats.
I'm fat. I've always been fat. I'm sort of convinced that, even if I have WLS, I'll still be fat. I don't care so much about the weight as I do my chronic diseases. I have diabetes, high triglycerides, chronic pain, and bipolar disorder.
I am in the gathering information phase of my journey, my husband is very skeptical of WLS, but he has agreed to go with me to my consultation. I don't know if I'll decide to have surgery or if I'll choose lifestyle maintance, but we'll see. Gathering information will lead me to where I want to go.
Personally, I enjoy video games, knitting, writing, chatting with friends, playing with my cats, sleeping, and reading. If you want to know something, just ask. :)
