Were you rejected by the insurance company? I know they are all different have different guidelines, just curious why you would be rejected? I'm getting nervous about my pre-cert. Thanks for your help!

I have my 2nd doctor's appointment on 9/30. I have completed my psych evaluation, have the approvals from my primary doc and cardiologist and have seen the nutritionist. My question is, how long does it take for the insurance approval? and when would the surgery be scheduled for?

My final straw was this: I fly a lot for work. The seatbelts kept getting tighter and tighter. I was so embarrassed, one time I could barely get the arm rest down and I was sweating the whole flight thinking the stewardess was going to notice and force me off or make me pay for an extra seat. The guy next to me was extra grumpy about it too - but who could blame him? Mortifying experience. I dread flying. I can't wait for my surgery!! -

I am getting nervous about my surgery (I don't have a date yet) and the ensuing diet. How are you able to eat so little immediately after ? What are some things you did to help you through the first month post op - basically during the liquid and mushy stages. Were any of you afraid you wouldn't be able to handle it leading up to your surgery? -
