  1. @@moppet 600 calories sounds really low. I typically come in around 750 and 900 calories, with at least 60 grams of Protein. If I don't hit my protein or if my calories are lower than normal, I feel exhausted too. BTW, it did take me a while to find my calorie/protein groove before I started feeling like myself again.
  2. I'm just over 2 months post op and have very similar stats to you. I'm feeling great! Lots of energy and I've got my routine down well. I'm sure you'll do fine. Lots of options in London as far as food goes - it's a great city! When I visited a few years back, we were on a budget and I was doing a low carb diet. My husband and I picked up healthy pre-made foods at the local grocery stores/markets that we passed. They had plenty of healthy food options to go (I was doing low carb at the time). Also saw plenty of good options at restaurants as well. Have a great time!
  3. I weighed in at 200.8 this morning, tantalizingly close to the 100's again. Total of 34 pounds lost. Finding that I have a few food sensitivities, mainly related to pork products. Bacon is a definite no for me! Even a tiny bite caused nausea, pain, and dumping. Almost everything else is going quite well. I'm proud of myself that it's been over 2 months without caffeine and I'm sleeping better because of it. Believe me, it's been a challenge given that I work rotating shifts, but I don't like coffee or tea, so kicking the soda habit has meant kicking the caffeine habit for me!
  4. I was sleeved on March 29th. Down 28 pounds from surgery day. I had a 2 week long stall in weeks 2-4, but happy that the scale is moving slowly again. Went from very tight size 18s to comfortable size 16s.

    Pregnancy testing

At hospital check-in, I was asked when my last period occurred. I have a Mirena IUD and haven't had a period in many years. They made me pee in a cup for a pregnancy test because of this. I got the impression that those with regular cycles might not get tested, but I'm not entirely certain about that. Probably one of those things that depends on your hospital's rules.
  6. It's looking like late December or early January for me. More likely it will be early January given my work schedule. I've only got two more weigh ins left with my PCP. I've already met with my doctor's NUT and "passed" the psych evaluation. My doctor doesn't even require a pre-op diet liquid diet. Here's hoping the time flies quickly because I'm so ready!
