High guys I'm 6 days out and in my liquid phase with soft noodles. I had wonton soup at lunch any 2 hours ago and now I have a horrible burning /bring you to your knees pain in my stomach. I had a few bites of wonton not meat or onion and I chewed for days. Any ideas? It hit me while I bent over to pick up a pillow.

Actually the pain was from the staples. See I had a flat tire earlier this day and picked up to spare and pulled my stomach a hair. I'm doing better now

My doctor highly recommend cutting mine to lesson the chances of hair loss. I took 14inch off hoping he was correct

Thank you for this post grabbing an ice pack now and then I'll try a heating pad 6 days out feel like death

Best of luck everyone I had surgery Friday everything went great. Came home Saturday evening and starting to feel some what normal

So day 3 got the best of me and as I left work last night I found my self at taco bell drive Thur with a side of beans and cheese ???? got home and felt guilty. Today is a new day and planned all meals and snacks for every 2.5 hours

Friday is the day for me....

I wish mine were a family reunion I work for a hotel in food and beverage and my off is smack in the middle of the kitchen. I'm fine at home but the mintue I leave for work my will power goes away then I end up pissed at myself for not having the will power. This is a crazy journey surgery is Friday so close I can see the finish line!!!!

All set for Friday. My doctor called me last night to tell me my liquid diet can be put off till 2 days before surgery

My doctor doesn't require a preop diet either but I gave up all carb week one and starting tomorrow (Friday) I'll put my self on a liquid diet to make sure my liver is where it needs to be surgery is the 18th (bitting my nails) nervous is a understatement I've never had surgery other then oral. Keep pushing guys we are all almost on the other side

@carebear873214.....yeah....there isn't any way around that! I can trick my sweet tooth IDK how to trick a greasy food craving! How are you doing today with your pre op diet? I am doing good so far.....worried about tonight! I always want to snack in the evening! I've been cleaning out the fridge and freezer today. pantry is tomorrow.......hard to throw away food but need out of the house.@@mlmanney I was doing great till the hospital called to tell me that I have a $500 copay which is not the case. After talking to my insurance company and them trying to reach the hospital which was closed. So I'm a hair on edge and had a scoop of ice cream and spit it out lol could have been worse

Wish I had a sweet tooth, mine is the greasy food lol so I stick to a little fat ham to tip it off

Hopefully cause I'm now in grouchy mood and sick of salads.

My preop diet is high protein and no starches. I do 1salad with meat and cheese no dressing a protein shake and a broth with chicken or shrimp. I make sure I have at least 64oz of water.

I'm a few days ahead of you. My surgery is the 18th. I'm ready nervous and scared but over all ready
