  1. Nuts, beef jerky, cheese, yogurts, slices of avacado wrapped in deli sliced meats like turkey that's yum, beans with cheese melted, carnations instant breakfast shakes. This is what I live on at the moment.

    LOL it's like yeah but no really, the weight IS supposed to just melt off me in the beginning lolI'm down 40 lbs 6 weeks out. If that's not melting off idk what is. I'm sorry don't get discouraged. You'll get there. Maybe need a jump start, ask your doctor how.
  3. Should we (gastric bypass) be consuming? I was never really told. Im averaging 500-700 calories a day, which includes 60 grams of protein and about 50 oz of water. It is the hardest to consume all 64 Oz of water, water actually hurts my stomach. Thank you ; )

  6. I understand eating sugar free everything due to dumping? Is that correct it's solely to prevent dumping? Is this forever?? I'm not even a diabetic and I've stayed away from sugar completly. Just need clarification, it's due to the dumping and this is a forever thing? Same goes for oil, grease and carbs?
  7. lol don't worry or feel that way. My doctor gave me instructions that were verrrryy strict. At 6 weeks am still supposed to be on PUREE. Little does he know I've eaten more heh heh heh..I've notice a lot of people on here are very different in thier eating. Just depends on the doctor. I think you are eating what we will get too. Am egg and cheese for breakfast is great and so is the tuna salad. I'll get there. That is not a lot of food. Don't worry : )
  8. It's tough but you can do it. I focus on the protein shake first thing in the morning and one in the evening. In between water which I have YET to drink all 64 oz, I'm 6 weeks out. I can do for sure 40-50 but never the full 64. Hell yesterday I only was able to drink 30, but I ate good. It's hard because we can't just chug anymore to get it in. Yes you get very full on so little. Today I had 1/2 cup of pinto beans, a string cheese and two sugar free popsicles. That's all I really average. The rest of the day I'll focus on more water and my last shake. Maybe lil snack tonight. You'll get your rythem to get all your protein and liquids in. Sucks that chicken made you sick. Meats are very heavy I've noticed.

    Dumping, don't get it.

    I THINK I have dumped once or twice. Just got diahreea quick and hot flashes, for about a 1/2 hour to hour. Then i was fine. Had to much grease, couldn't resist dad's hash browns, only had 1/4 of a cup but it made me sick. I have a question...what's that offle pain you get in your chest as if you swallowed a brick and you have to throw up? Not chewing well enough??

    2 weeks then it was GONE. I know exactly what you are feeling. The pain would paralyze me. It was AWEFUL. but once the 3rd week hit it was gone and I could sleep on my sides and stomach too. First 2 weeks back only. Hang in there

    I have found when I did that, got to know someone via phone and texting first, I was scared to meet them in person worried that they would not like what they saw and there goes that time spent and getting attached. some people have no problem actually doing the actual meeting, but me, I almost use to get anxiety over it. It was offle I have issues lol

    I bought a good cuisenart one but to be honest I really haven't pureed anything. I puree it with my mouth and chewing eating soft stuff to begin with. I also have the magic bullet that purees small amounts at a time.
