Started preop diet this morning. Should be ok since I've done this regime often enough. Hardest thing for me will be giving up my morning coffee! I'm 5"1 and current weight is 222. I'm happy and nervous. I'm from Quebec Canada and doing this via medical tourism because the wait is just too long here. I have no health issues as of yet so I'm not priority. Also, the cost in private clinics is way too expensive.

Surgery for me is next Saturday so don't know about any of this YET but you sure gave me a good laugh! I'll try to remember that when my tinny tummy will have it his way!

Good morning all, I'm on day 2 of my preop diet and I've been having a major headache since yesterday. I suspect it's from not having my coffee in the morning. I guess I'm a total coffee addict! Any tricks to help out with this? Tylenol doesn't work. I've had some all day. I'm not hungry, just in pain!

Same here, doing much better. The headache is gone. It's all good now. 1 week to go!

Super! Thanks! I'm getting kind of scared after a review I just read. My surgeon will be Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela. She practices in the MI hospital. From what a lady just wrote she says that the services at the hospital and the the hotel were not appropriate. I will be staying at the Hyatt hotel.

Still have a headache. I'm a little worried since I have an interview this afternoon. I can't say I'm particularly hungry it's just this headache getting to me making me grumpy. I can do this! I will stick to the plan and get over this third day. Things should get better after. Thank you so much for your concern and your support!

I've been keeping a bottle of water and drinking all day. I'm practicing for postop I believe going cold turkey on caffeine and sugar is why this is happening. I will give the pills a try. I guess it's better now than after surgery to go through withdrawal.
