Hey, all! First post here, but I've been lurking for a while. My surgery is next Thursday, the 12th. I'm starting to freak out ever so slightly. I started the Optifast pre-op diet a little earlier than required on 10/19- what was I thinking?? Would love to connect with others making this journey! -
Who did you go through? I am from Salisbury as well. Looking at the Center for Surgical Weight Loss Lake Norman. nesheag101, are you looking at self-pay with Dr. Heider? I'm looking at this center as well. Have you already done their seminar?

krystalgenie, how did your surgery go? I'm in Charlotte and just starting to research WLS seriously. Dr. Voellinger is high on my list, and I'd love to hear more about your experience and whether you recommend him. Congratulations on your new start!
