Hello my name is Chasity Bembry-Lane and this is my story. I'm so happy that I was able to find BariatricPal by google gastric bypass blogs. I've chosen to have gastric bypass surgery and I'm waiting on my September 17, 2015 my SURGERY date. I'm so excited, nervous, and scared.  My story is like many others I'm a wife, mother of two teenagers, and my career is somewhat stressful. I've spent 16 years trying to lose weight and I've tried every diet in the book some were successful but many weren't. I've lost weight but gained that plus A LOT back. I've spent majority of my life focusing on my husband,children,career, school, and others however, I've decided that this year is my year to invest in me. I'm approaching the big 40 in a couple of years and I want to be a better,healthier,happier me. I'm hoping that gastric bypass will unlock the healthier girl within.I want to live life to the fullest do things I haven't done in years and try things I'm too afraid of doing. I love life, I like to laugh, make others laugh and I like to have a good time. I'm interested in learning and sharing experiences so please share with me your experiences things that  worked for you and of course I'm always interested in meeting new friends. Until we meet happy weight loss :D
