    Slow losers Club

    Sleeved 8/10 lost 20 the first 3 weeks And since then has been so slow, I was 256 and now today I weighed 228 so 8 pounds in the last three weeks I struggle with it because I am also still very sore so I get little exercise in because 2 weeks ago I over did it (vaccumed out my car) and have been in pain since, I am hoping once I can workout more that I will be able to lose more but until then I will join the club

Hey everyone, two weeks ago I was feeling great & starting to do more than I probably should have but I have four small kids & I hate having a messy house, well I hurt myself one Saturday when I jumped up fast off a couch when someone came running in yelling my name that my daughter was hurt (she wasn't it was a joke) and since then I have been so sore I can barely bend, sit down, walk around or even lay on my side without feeling like my insides are burning or a stabbing feeling, I see my surgeon Friday but hoepfully someone can encourage me because my weight loss has slowed down too I lost 20 pounds by three weeks and now I have only lost another 6 pounds since

    Hurt myself...

    So I was at a 1year old's birthday party at a cousins house and I was sitting on the couch (I was sleeved 8/10/15) and all of a sudden another cousin came running in the house screaming my name, I jumped up without thinking because my 9 yr old was outside with her & I thought something happened.... Well she forgot I had surgery and was only kidding, problem is I hurt myself.. I was feeling really good but now after that I am back to feeling like I was week 2 post op. My one incision inside just burns and stings so bad when I bend slightly & turn, Im so upset! I called dr office on Tuesday but never got a call back yet, Guess Im just wondering if anyone ever hurt themselves like me

    Update:???? I called my dr, they said I am bending too much & too ice it & rest.... For two more weeks ????

    Worried about my protein intake

    The importance of your protein is more than weight loss right now its so your body can heal, I was struggling with a few protein brands too and Was struggling to get the minimum 60g my dr wanted, I actually switched to the premade Premier Protein shakes @ Costco (choc, vanilla & strawberries & cream) the best thing is they are 30g so I just needed to drink two a day. I also suggest you call your dr office & let them know your struggle with protein so they can get you on track, I wouldn't wait & they wouldn't want you too either Hope this helps, & Best wishes too! ????

    Suggestions?

    How many grams of protein are you getting in? Maybe add two protein only snacks in between? Like 2 oz chicken, tuna etc so the calories are minimal & its protein to keep you full, I recently started eating the tuna packets, they have a few flavors that have no sugar or less than 1 carb, about 2.5 oz so perfect size too, hope this helps ????

    Struggling

    Make sure you keep up with your protein intake and vitamins, water is important too, I have 4 kids & a hubby I cook dinner then leave when the eat so I am not tempted. If you keep up on your protein & vitamins it should help so your body isn't feeling deprived, but I know it can be hard! I had low sodium beef broth or chicken broth helped when I wanted something savory, otherwise sugar free jello, sf ice pops or sf italian ice, sf pudding, I bought (at costco) the Premier Protein premade shakes (choc, vanilla, & strawberries & cream) for my first few weeks it was a life saver to have those ready on hand in fridge (30g protein each too!) when I was making my own I was putting the peanut butter powder Pb2 in my mixes to help with taste, hope some of this helps you!     6 week stall

    My friend that had it down and was expected to lose 90 pounds but ended up losing 180 told me to think of our weight loss as a staircase, you will maintain them lose, maintain then lose. Sometimes its a day sometimes its a few days sometimes it a week, as long as we keep focus on the proteins, water, stress level ( yes my dr said thats important too ????) and walk. we will all be successful! Hi All, I will be calling the doctor but wondering what everyone here tiinks too, I was sleeved on 8/10, so I am a month out today, I was starting walks outside and have increased my general activity at home ( have 4 kids) and just general bending over, well the last two days it has gone from small discomfort when I come up from bending, to now my incision site is painful like the first week, and I having trouble sleeping, can't sit without feeling burning, I am definitely going to lounge at home today (no cleaning!) Tia!
