  3. I was banded the 28th too! I just have some pain near the large inciscion and not much else. I do find myself getting tired more easily at work though. gas pain only lasted 2.5 days but I walked like a crazy man!

    my update(bcbsil)

Hi everyone! So my surgery is scheduled for next thursday the 28th. After the insurance coordinator submitted to bcbsil on a thursday I called on monday to check and they said they haven't received anything. So they actually called the center to tell them and the coordinator re-faxed everything. 2 days later I was approved! I have been on a liquid only diet for a few days getting ready for the surgery and have already lost 6lbs in 2 days. My advice to everyone trying to get approval is this: Don't assume anyone is going to do their job properly and be uber dilligent. I went to the center with my paperwork and went over every single page with the coordinator and even what order she was going to fax them. Glad I did because one key piece of info was missing, the page that had one of my weights from like 2003 had cut off where the nurse wrote the weight and I had to get a new copy(i was not going to leave anything to chance) then i called bcbsil every day and they finally said oh we never got the paperwork so I am glad I didn't just wait because i was told by them initially to wait the 30 days before I checked. Anyway that's my story...any questions?
  5. That bcbsil ppo just approved me today! It only took like 3 days once they had all of the paperwork. Life is good and thank you all for providing some much information and support, it really helped me along the way. Reading your stories has helped me so much. What started this whole thing? Looking at all of your before and after pics. So thanks!

    Just submitted bcbsil!

The insurance coordinator just emailed me to let me know I'm approved! I am so damn happy right now I can't tell you. After being on edge for a few days this is such a relief. So I didn't technically have 6 months of dr. supervised weight loss, I had 6 visists once a month for 6 months(first visit was feb 28th last was july 28th) But I did have 6 months of dieticians notes and all the other stuff was well documented. Man I am glad I saw a dr once a year for the last 5 years! What an arduous procees I'm glad the waiting is over!

thanks! wow what a range. The ins. coordinator told me the soonest is usually 3 weeks, but what the hell I'll bother them in 4 days just to check on it. She faxed it in too.

So Day One Health Chicago just submitted my paperwork to bcbsil. I am such an impatient person I want an answer now! How long did it take for your insurance companies to approve or deny your claim? Pray for me please!

    Okay Men...need some advice

really you are nice looking, but how is your body? Breast size and how your butt looks matters to most guys. give it time and don't be needy, this is #1 turnoff. do you have male friends? ask them about your personality and ask them to be dead honest. do you come across as bitchy or whiny? Are you too much of a buddy girl? sorry if this sounds sexist but it is the truth and I just want to help you. but the main thing is if you want a good man be a good woman and just give it time. I know quite a few verry pretty 34 yo single girls desperate to get married and it comes across that way with every guy they meet.
