CANDI254 replied to Life is Good in WY's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am in the same boat. I had surgery on June 22nd and am losing my hair like crazy mad. Its horrible. I called my nut and she said to make sure I am getting in all my Vitamins and plenty of Protein and to take Biotin. Hopefully it helps. My hair is falling out my the handful -

@Thinside I don't use powder I use GNC ready made and just use it like a creamer. Tastes really good. I also have used the Adkins Mocha before but doesn't have as many grams of Protein. -

Sugar free, carbonation free drinks
CANDI254 replied to Tssiemer1's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@Tssiemer1 WHEN I GO OUT I WILL TAKE A PACK OF CYRSTAL LIGHT WITH ME AND ADD IT TO THE Water. IVE NEVER HAD ANYONE LOOK AT ME FUNNY OR SAY ANYTHING. iVE ALSO SEEN A LADY I WORK WITH ORDER WATER AND ABOUT 6 LEMON PIECES ADD SPLENDA AND MAKE HER OWN VERSION OF LEMONAID . I DO NOT DRINK WHILE I EAT BUT I DO GO TO RESTAURANTS AND NOT EAT ONLY DRINK. ( LIKE WHEN OTHERS ARE HUNGRY BUT I AM NOT. ) AND ITS NICE TO HAVE SOMETHING OTHER THAN WATER TO DRINK. -

I was just talking to my co workers about the fact that at this point I am so unhappy with myself. I wish I had not got the surgery done. Then I came in the office and saw this post. I know (orat least hope) that a few months from now when I can see the weight lose I will be happy with the choice but right now I just want a 32oz of soda or shoot just Water and be able to drink it without being in pain. I am so tired of always hurting when I eat or drink anything.
-
@@D. Kennedy I could not do the protein shakes either. I found Isopure is the best for me. It has 40 grams of protein per bottle. I pure a little in a glass of ice let it melt some and that helps the taste.

how far out are you? I am 9 weeks out but my nut told me 2oz at a time.

CANDI254 replied to Licia2210's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 9 weeks out and I would have not have done the surgery if I knew that I would be going through so much after the surgery.(3 surgeries in 9 weeks) I am glad I didn't know cause I think I am glad I had the surgery but honestly I am not sure yet. -
@@pumpkinseed29 Yeah, my doc says that about 80% of WLS patients gallbladders go bad after surgery.
-
Thanks, I hope this is the last one too, but the surgeon says I will prob need many more to come on my wrist.
-
Ok, so sorry in advance for this.... I know it doesn't really have anything to do with WLS but I am so annoyed right now. I had the sleeve surgery done on June 22nd (awesome so glad I did). But then 5 weeks later had to have my gallbladder taken out. And now 4 weeks later I get to have another surgery. Yay me! At least its not on my stomach area this time. Its just to remove a tumor from my wrist but dude Im so tired of surgery's. I use to think I wanted a boob job but now I think I like these babies just the way they are. I am so tired of having surgery. Ok done with the venting. Thanks for reading.

THE 3 WEEK STALL SEEMS TO JUST BE SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS BUT YES IF YOU INCREASE YOUR CALORIES SOME IT SHOULD HELP. YOUR BODY GETS USE TO ONLY HAVING 600 CALORIES SO IT STARTS TO TRY AND STORE THEM. IF YOU GIVE IT A LITTLE MORE IT SHOULD START BURNING THEM AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD START LOSING AGAIN.

Constant nausea... Need help
CANDI254 replied to Kisha Fields's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgeon said that about 65% of WLS patients gallbladder s go bad and have to hav removed then after he took it out told me having your gallbladder removed increases your chances of gaining wait back about 18 months out.
