    Eating a lot

    I had it on August 4th, so about 2 months, it's not like I'm eating a lot in one sitting, but like overall today I ate a lot Bc I kept eating after I stopped feeling full..it was all mental tbh @@jenn1

    200 lbs sleevers

    Before my surgery I was 216 lbs and now two months after I'm 182.7 lbs ( I didn't do a pre-op diet)...is 34lbs not a lot for two months? I'm not sure but I really want to get to 143lbs but I really doubt that will happen...but hopefully

    Fasting

    I'm Muslim and were required to fast( no water no food) for a whole month from sunset to sunrise , although that has passed, there's some days that you're recommended to fast to repent and remove your sins..I'm 2 months post-op, and I just want to know if I'm allowed to fast? We normally fast from sunrise to sunset so about 13 hours, and then we eat...today is one of those recommended fasting days and I just want to know if i could fast ( if you're sick or you are not able to fast for medical reasons it's excused) so can anyone please answer ASAP?

    What happens if you overeat once or twice + how do you know you're overeating..plus am I ever supposed to feel full?

    does anyone else have long stages?

    I had really long weeks, 21 days full liquid, 8 weeks purée, 6 weeks soft foods...but tbh I had a bit of soft food and I felt comfortable eating it so I just moved on...8 weeks seems like too much; but follow your doctors advice it's different for everyone

    I'm scared

    I'm 1 month and a week post op and I've started eating soft foods such as rice and pasta ect. But I feel like I'm consuming too many carbs? I'm not sure but I know it's because it's the only thing that I can stomach right now and can put down easily; I'm scared I'm going to stop loosing weight though...I've lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks but I haven't lost anything ever since then and I'm scared I'm not going to...idk what to do? I think I need to start working out more but is this just a stall? Or am I eating too many carbs/food in general???

    Why am I not losing?

    I got mine August 4th! I lost about 22lbs and I'm also stuck right now /: but I'm eating carbs Bc that's really the only thing I can eat that's "soft" tbh, so yeah I'm just annoyed I've been stuck for two weeks I think I just wanna start loosing again, but I think it's just a stall, soon we will start loosing again!
  8. Idk I feel like I've eaten a lot today In the morning I had an activia berry yogurt like half of it and then I went to chilies with my friends and got grilled fillet fish with mashed potatoes and I've eaten it all..obviously spread out through the day. Lunch and dinner...is that a lot?

    Fear

    I always have a fear that I won't lose weight...and that I'm eating too much or bad things or I'm doing something wrong and that the surgery is gonna fail for me...it's really giving me anxiety..I feel like I'm going to sabotage myself soon...

    A lot of people say 4oz is how much you should eat in one sitting but I feel like it's so much! I'm really scared to eat that much in one sitting bc I don't even know when I get full tbh....

    Alchohol

    Is drinking a bit of alcohol 15 days post op that bad? I know they say you get drunk a lot faster, so if I watch out for how much I drink is it okay to drink just a bit? Like maybe a small cup? Or is it not allowed

    Stall

    How long does the 3rd week stall last? I want to start losing weight...I feel so discouraged ugh. I've lost about 20lbs so far but I really want to start losing again or I feel like I'm suffering for no reason ???? Can someone tell me how to get off the stall quicker?
  15. Okay guys, I'm on the last days of my 21 days...I thought that after this I could eat tuna with light mayo mashed very well or those types of things..but turns out I have to do 8 weeks!!!!!! Of only those foods??? Is that even possible?? How can I eat only those types of food for 2 months! That literally seems impossible and I'm really mad, and emotional right now about this..did any of you guys have to do 8 weeks of this??? I feel like no one else had to...

  17. So I started my weight at 216 lbs and now after 3 weeks I'm 194, but I honestly still feel the same and I even feel fatter now, idk why? When I look in the mirror it looks like I've just gotten fatter? And I'm worried I'm not going to lose a lot of weight bc I'm not taking the protein powder? It's really hard for me to take the protein powder mostly bc I'm so sick of milk bashed shakes...so idk if I've actually not lost any actual fat or if it's just self esteem
  18. I litterally don't like anything I eat? I'm so sick of soups ( I'm on the full liquid stage) 1) I don't like soup anymore 2) I can barley stomach milk-based protein shakes ( barley getting protein in) 3) I've been only able to drink fruit juice ( no sugar added) My parents are very worried I'm not eating enough but I really don't know what to eat! Today I had 5spoons of brocolli soup Some apple juice And some orange and pineapple juice And that's really it... Nothing else I really don't know what to do, I have 5 days left until I can have a blenderized diet

I'm 16 days post op, recently I've been having to go out to lunch for birthdays and such and I've been getting soups ( I'm on the full liquid diet), most of the soups are cream based, such as cream of chicken soup and mushroom soup. I have another birthday lunch and I was planning to get a broccoli soup ( cream based) is this too much fat for me? Should I stop eating out and just go and sit there?

  23. Okay so I'm about 10 days post-op, and I'm on the full liquid diet. I'm just wondering how much "food" should I consume? So for example if I'm "eating" chicken broth, should it be 1/2 cup? 1/4 cup? Idk the only meal I had at the hospital (once) was 1/2 cup chicken broth and 1/4 cup of apple juice, so I'm not sure what I should be having in general!

    Gatorade

    So I've been having dihareea so I heard Gatorade was good, I couldn't find sugar free Gatorade, is it okay to consume Gatorade with sugar? I heard if you dilute it, it could help? Shall I stay away from it, will it decrease my weight loss? Should I drink it or no?
