Hi all, I am 12 hours from my hospital check in time and I am excited, nervous, and relieved at the same time. Thanks forum members for sharing and helping me through the pre-op phases!

Thanks all, this is really helpful! Surgery was Thursday, I stayed an extra day in the hospital because I was so concerned about not getting enough fluid with the nausea. Meds for nausea are working, and I can take the fluids so far. Been walking since day one a lot as the docs and nurses suggested, and I don't have much pain from gas (I have been passing a lot since the night after surgery). Thanks again for all the support.

This is my first day back at home after getting my sleeve. Meds working to keep nausea at bay, now the battle to keep sipping.

I am home from the hospital after a successful sleeve! Battling a bit of nausea but prescription is working.

I agree, I am set on the 20th and so far it has sucked the entire time (my Doc has 2 weeks liquid, last 2 days clear only)

Don't be too hard on yourself, we are all human and we all make mistakes... You are ahead of the game on your eating plan and that is a success in itself!

Hi! I am scheduled for 09/02, just a couple of weeks after you Congrats! I just posted to you on another topic, but the pre-op diet literally sucks the life out of you the first few days. I had a constant dull headache and fatigue and I was really crabby. After about day 4 or 5 you should hopefully feel a lot better. We're all different so you might even feel better sooner! Where in CA are you located @TomIam? Thanks Nikikins, I am strangely looking somewhat forward to paying back my caloric debt (as several of us were told in our nutrition classes).

Hi there, I am booked for the 20th and on the liquid diet now with my final per-op tomorrow. Bit nervous but I know it is the right thing for me to do! Hope you get your date soon, time is flying except for being hungry with a headache...

Hi there, I am pre-op also with a date of 8/20 so 1 day before. On liquid diet now (I am surprised how tough the liquid diet is)
