    4 day post op

I was banded on 6/18 too. I managed to get myself out of the hospital by late in the afternoon the next day. I had an issue with vomiting... and a fever. (which the hospital didn't pick up on). I was uncomfortable for the first night, on my first night home, I took dilaudid 2 mg, and it was enough to ease off the pain. I actually had more of a pain in my neck from the freaking hospital pillow, then the actual incisions. My chest was sore from tossin' Cookies the first night. As a rule I hate tylenol. But, I took the extra strength liquid for 2 days, and started to feel a bit more normal. I may be a bad person, but I had to do something to make me feel less sick. So, I started eating baby food on the second day along with my liquids. By the 3 day, I was up to toast and broth, and oatmeal. I'm not trying to sabotage the surgery, I'm just working within the limits of what my body is telling me. On the good side. I lost 30lbs before the surgery, with a modification of the suggested diet. I have a feeling that my journey will be a custom fit one, but successful too. peace r. moe alter

Had Lap Band 2 days Ago

Speaking of spitting up, anyone have any information about "throwing up." Like when you have the flu, or sea sick... Does the band make it more difficult to toss the contents of the stomach....? k [/url]
  4. I am wondering if anyone had any discussions with their drs. or insights with excess skin from such quick weight loss? thanks k
