My name is Natasha. I am a 29 years old single mom from New Jersey but currently in Apopka, FL.
I struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was always the "big girl" in class and among my group of friends. I remember back in 5th grade my mother telling us all that we were going to start eating healthy because someone was starting to get "thunder thighs". That someone was me. And from there the weight just kept adding on. In 8th grade I was 180lbs which was the smallest I ever remember being. I was a size 14 in jeans and considered "pretty for a big girl" by a classmate. By high school I hit some rough patches. Dealt with depression and by graduation in 2004 I was at 210lbs. At that point I turned into the girl I am today. Shy, homebody, lazy, antisocial. Over the years I've gained and gained. I had gotten up to 250lbs at age 23. I started taking Adipex and receiving B12 shots by a Dr in my area. I did that for about 3 months and lost about 30lbs. However that began to be very expensive when the Dr. raised his price from $100 every two weeks to $250. Of course I stopped taking the Adipex pills and gained all my weight back. At 25 I got pregnant with my now 4 year old daughter. I was at 250lbs again pre pregnancy. When I was 6 months pregnant my daughter's dad disappeared. Local police have presumed him dead with no body. That of course took a toll on me. I was depressed beyond comprehension. After having my daughter I suffered with depression. Never thought I'd be a single parent. Here I am today. 322 lbs and I will go no higher. I'm tired of being the "big girl". I'm tired of being depressed. Tired of being a home body. I'm ready to live life the way it's meant to be lived. And on August 14, 2015 I get that chance.. Follow my journey and prepare to be amazed!
