    Is this normal?

Thank you all! So I guess I'll still be drinking protein shakes for awhile.
  2. That was a delight to look at. What spices do you put on your broccoli? What do you use on veggies broiled in oven?

    Protein drink issues

I had surgery on 9-3. It's almost hard to say what to do, because after surgery your sense of taste is off. I liked Premier Protein shakes before surgery, but now I have a hard time getting them down. I've tried a lot of different types of protein, they all make me slightly nauseous. Just drink slowly. You could try the powders, but for me, they were worse.
  4. I'm 5 weeks out and my protein shakes had been making me nauseous. But yesterday and today I tried something new, I left them in the fridge and just sipped on them all day. I had been trying to drink them in one sitting. I'm getting two in with no effort! I hope this is ok????

    Protein Suggestion!

That's what I drink too. But lately they taste too sweet for me.
  6. I'm 5 weeks out. I'm never hungry. I have to remind myself to eat. I get all my fluids and protein (shakes) in. When I make myself food, I eat about 5 tiny bites and that's it. I couldn't care less about food. Is this normal?
  7. I'm almost 5 weeks out and I've been drinking Premier Protein, but everyday that goes by, they make me more nauseous. I threw up this morning. I have some Unjury powder that I put in my Crystal Lite, but the consistency makes me sick. I know I'm being picky. Where do you get Syntrax Nectar? I need something that will go in my Crystal Lite that doesn't make it too thick. What are some good options? I can't get enough protein from food yet. When can you eat protein bars?

  9. I'm 55. I've done great. My biggest problem is that I'm totally uninterested in food. I have to remind myself to eat.

    11 Days Out! Too Full!

I'm getting in my required amounts. It just takes me all day to do it. Then I feel like there's not any room for food. It's a good thing I'm retired, I don't know how people who work do it.
