I think my story is going to be a "deja vu" for most folks on this site.  I started struggling with my weight when I hit pre-puberty and have never had success keeping the weight off for more than a few years.  Yo-yo dieting and always trying the greatest new thing wasn't working.  My husband suggested Lap band years ago, but I wasn't ready to hear that.  After my latest diet failure, I was really struggling and gaining weight FAST.  I looked into Lap band again and a friend of mine introduced the sleeve to me.  It seemed like a perfect fit.  I'm ready for this journey, but very nervous.  I don't want another failure on my resume.  I had the sleeve surgery on 9/28.  I'm doing okay, but struggling with pain and heartburn still.  I haven't had a lot of success with support groups, but do get a lot of info online and find that to be a good go-to place for me.  My Dr. Recommended this site.  I've already been blessed by many of the things I've read on here and hope to be able to participated and help others as well.
