I have been diabetic for most of my life and it has been very hard to control. The last visit that I had with my Endo he said that he didnt know anything else to do to help me that he thought that i should consider weight loss surgery. I was Pissed. I was fine with my weight. I have been a Big Guy ALL of my life I mean from a baby. I am 6'2 and top weight was 440lbs. I lost down to about 250 and went into Heart failure and gained back to 370. After Heart Failure subsided I felt great at around 350. this was about the time that my Endo mentioned WLS. I spoke with my Primary Care Doc which I had been seing for 10+ yrs and he agreed. Not so much for my weight although I despreately needed to lose it but for my health. So with alot of reasearch and soul searching i agreed. after 10 months of waiting I had lost down to 300lbs and my surgery was schedueld. Then was cancelled due to complications with my heart and with my diabetes which landed me in a Nice ICU stay for 7 days.  Surgery was reschedueled and This time everything went without a hitch. Now My journey has begun.... As you can tell I talk constantly I love to laugh and love to give advice. I went to school for nutrition... Aint that something a fat boy telling people how to eat . I love to sing , and I love to cook.... Never trust a skinny Chef was my Motto now what
