I get sick when taking my Bariatric Advantage multi Vitamins. The Calcium I can stomach, and the B12. Is there a liquid or a one -a day multi I can take that won't make me sick. I'm still working on getting all my vitamins in plus I haven't reached my Protein or Fluid goal yet!!! I'm almost for weeks out.Did it take anyone this long to get the hang of this?

I'm 7 weeks post op. When is the earliest release time for those activities?

I'm 6 weeks out it does get better. I still have issues with getting in protein. Although, it's getting better and water is a work in progress. I didn't eat or drink that much at 3weeks out I had complications too. But I feel better now. I did popsicles,and soup... And for some strange reason coloring helped keep my mind off things. You will feel better I promise. This will pass. Good Luck!!

I find it really difficult chewing with my dentures. This was an issue before, now it's ×10. I don't want to blend everything. Anyone with uppers have this issue? If so do you have any suggestions?

I just read the pumpkin pie thread and think that's a good question. Since the holiday season is approaching rapidly and for the people less than 3 months sleeved. What are some good low carb,lowfat,sugar free...low cal, dessert idea's?

That's a hard pill to swallow. I'm a mother too and protecting ones child is just basic instinct. I'm sure most would agree. I have no words of wisdom for you. I can olny pray that you and your family get through this. I have learned in life the things we fear the most might just be what we need for a better out come. Most of us learn from our mistakes especially if there's no one there to fix our mistakes. I hope you and your marriage can withstand this bump in the road. But I do understand your husbands method. When can I have any sauces. Hot sauce is what I'm concerned with.

I haven't smoked a cigarette in 3 1/2 months. I can't take my Chantix it makes my stomach hurt badly. Hence, I smoked a cigarette it taste horrible but the buzzy felt good I must admit. But I don't won't to smoke. Calling My PCP In The Am !! Anyone else find this an issue

I really haven't been on a scale since my two week check- up. My 6 week check up is Oct 7 and that's when I'll get on a scale. After that who knows honestly. However, I did my happy dance yesterday. I'm down almost 2 dress sizes I haven't lost more than 5lbs in the last 3years. Quite the opposite I gained and gained. Surgery ...I thought wasn't doing it form me either until yesterday. I can see my shoulders and watch TV in the bed lying down;without moving my tummy...lol. I'm just happy for the small things. I hope there are some other things that you can look forward too. y don't you vape? I just thought vaping would lead me back to smoking. But I see a lot of people quit smoking with vaping.. I need to do something

I didn't have my surgery there,but I stayed there after sever pain.. After surgery I was sent home but I was in to much pian for an out patient situation. Therfore, to the ER I went that's how I ended up at medical city Hospital. They are amazing !!!Great patients care. You are going to be fine.

Does anyone eat eggplant is that allowed. If so how to you prepare it. Spaghetti squash? Isn't that a starch? I'll return to work soon need. So just planning my menu idea's. My doctor released me to all foods or one of my doctors. I don t belive it. I'm not ready I don't think Like I said before in pervious post. I haven't seen a NUT yet. Not until Oct 7th.

I do a similar recipe but use either tofu or soy crumbles. I also like doing thin slices and then using them like lasagna noodles. I layer them with cheese, riccota, red sauce, spinach, sauteed onions and mushroom. I make them either in ramekins or muffin tins. They freeze well. Sound great!

Which surgery center. I went thur True Results. I had surgery August 26 2015.
