I wanted to say hello to everyone. I live in Arizona right now and will be having my surgery here. But at the beginning of 2016 we'll be moving to the Seattle area. So I thought it'd be fun to find some buddies in Washington and hopefully attend your support groups when I get up there. I'm waiting for my surgery to be scheduled, but I imagine I'll be having my bypass in late August/early September. Gina

Hello everyone! I'm so happy that I found this forum. It's such a vibrant, supportive group! I just had my consultation with my surgeon yesterday. He recommended bypass because of my BMI and that I have acid reflux. I originally wanted the sleeve but I'm feeling really good about getting bypass. Unfortunately my insurance pays nothing so I'm self-paying. But I'll be able to set my surgery date within the month. I have to do a sleep study first. I'd love to find some buddies that are having surgery in August and September. Have a wonderful day! Gina
