There is a forum on here for revisions.I revised from lapband to bypass after years of torture and failure with that darn lapband!Revising to RNY was the best decision ever!!!

No death penalty ...he gets to get 3 square meals a day...I am just sickened. Somehow he has done this before...you just don't just wake up and achieve this level of depraved craziness...Very sad about her.

I totally agree with you!I only told my parents when I got the band...to this day I am ashamed about the lapband failure,the fact that I suffered with it,gained back the weight,the damage it did to my body...I am glad I didn't reveal it to the world!!!You hit in on the head .. I just got revised to bypass...I told my best friend and parents...I am in my 50's...nothing to see or prove to anyone.I don't need to give a seminar on me and my procedure...not lying...just don't feel the need to tell everyone...even telling family or certain friends is a no no...they often feel the need to discuss your health with others even when you tell them not to...I can't wait to get to your success 5 yrs ahead...hopefully no longer obese and not a topic of discussion...congrats to you!

Stop reading negatives..,If you had WLS to begin with it means you are morbidly obese.The sleeve is a great "tool" to lose weight and that's why I assume you opted for the procedure.You are talking about Gherelin I assume. The biggest worry is not losing the weight and taking care of your health while you are young.I had bypass and my hair is thinning as well but at least I am not gaining weight....I am taking my vitamins and feeling better...trying to stay positive..,that's why we are all here to help you.We are all going through something.... You will be able to have kids and all the good things...your future is ahead of you!

Developed a torturous esophagus and hiatal hernia from the damage of the lapband.It had really did a job on me!

I was ravenous all the time!!!Now All that has changed.

Pure misery and gained 1 to 2 pounds consistently...I was ravenous beyond compare...only soft ...not good foods were tolerable...my chocolate cravings were out out of sight...just miserable.My teeth suffered,my gums are a mess... RNY has changed the game.

OMG...I would feel it coming on and run to the bathroom...I had a plastic barf bag in the car...I heaved several times on the side of the road....everyday was a crap shoot....I would the after get so hungry...I was ravenous all the time....ugh

The one thing I can't stand is stupidity and people asking dumb questions and just saying some incredibly stupid comments and sharing their unwanted opinions...WLS is not a magic bullet ....it is just a tool...you have to diet ...it involves cutting calories and a change of lifestyle ...end of story...that's the story .They don't need to know you had WLS....and the inner details.That is too much information....really.
